In the early hours of the morning Korvo had woken both Terry and the kids up to their great displeasure.

Despite their groaning Korvo makes them pack all their things into their newly found truck. They were lucky enough to find the old thing still had some juice in it. It wasn't a lot but it was enough to get to their intended location.

Korvo naturally took the wheel while Terry looked over the map.

"Terry, there's a fork in the road, which one should I take ?"

Terry looked up confusingly.

"A fork ?? I dont see a fork ?"

"I mean the road has split into two different directions. Which road should I take ?" Korvo was already frustrated and they've only been in the car for 3 hours.

"Okay okay, uhhhh..." Terry looked down at the map with a puzzled expression. "Uhhhh, take the right one-No the left !!"

"Which one is it ?"

"Uhm..."

Korvo groaned to himself only to feel his seat being kicked forward. "Hey ! What did I say about kicking my seat !?"

Yumyulack was right behind him with his knees up against the back of Korvo's seat.

"Hey, I'm just trying to get comfortable here, jeez !!" His eyes turned towards his teammate, Jesse. "It's bad enough I have to be pressed up so closely against her."

Jesse looked over and stuck her tongue out. Yum pushed her roughly as a response. "Ow !!" Jesse yelled as she pushed Yumyulack back. The resulting fight that occurred made Korvo secretly wish he had never agreed to smuggle in these kids.

"Stop it both of you !!" Korvo reached behind and attempted to separate the two. "Terry, which way ?"

"Left, just take left."

Both hands back on the wheel Korvo drove off into the left road. "Alright, for the rest of this trip everyone, and I mean everyone, is being quiet." He said sternly.

Terry and the kids collectively groan and whine.

"Shut the fuck up or im dropping you all off here."

Everyone, thankfully, quieted down.

"Good."

Yumyulack sighed and dug into his backpack. He pulled out an old walkman, a pair of earbuds, and a comic book. Jesse looked over curiously. "What's that ?" She pointed at his items.

Yumyulack looked over with a dull expression. "Music and comics."

"Can I listen ?"

"No."

"What ?? Cmon pleeease !!"

Jesse scooted towards the older teen and lightly shakes his shoulders as she begged.

Jesse had a very limited list of songs she's heard in her life. The only music she's ever listened to were the ones her dad liked and sung himself or the ones she'd happen to hear whilst near other people.

Yumyulack grumbled some curses under his breath before handing Jesse an earbud.

"Just be quiet, okay ?"

She nodded and plugged in the earbud excitedly. Scooting in closer she began to read his comic as well. Yum didn't say anything about it.

Terry looked back at the two and sighed. He's happy the two are getting along better...or at least being more tolerable of each other. He turned back towards the road and looked around. There were abandoned cars everywhere covered in old moss and leaves. Occasionally, there would be an old dead skeleton at the steering wheel or a disturbingly fresh looking body. Terry didn't think too hard about it. That's just what happens nowadays.
