-warning for more blood
A young but rough looking man slowly moved his way into the dark alley. Despite it being relatively empty, besides a huge dumpster and a couple of trash cans scattered, he continued to keep his guard up high and his pistol even higher.
His eyebrow quirked up as he heard the trash cans at the end of the alley shake, as if something was moving behind it.
"Got you, motherfuckers" he muttered with a smirk.
But as he passed the dumpster he was suddenly grabbed behind. An arm wrapped around his neck and started squeezing the life out of him.
"Shut up shut up."
Struggling became futile as the man's neck jerked to the side giving a loud CRACK. Letting out one last gurgle his eyes rolled to the back of his head
and went limp.
Once he was sure he was dead Korvo let his body hit the ground with a loud thud.
"I think that was the last of them."
Terry and Jesse stood from the trash cans along with Yumyulack from behind the dumpster. "Jesus Christ," Terry held onto Jesse's hand, incase things did went south he would always have her near him. "Who are those guys ?"
"Hunters, they kill and steal from anybody who traspasses on their territory." korvo explained, he looked around to see if it really was clear. It seems they've killed all of them, thankfully.
Yumyulack knelt down and swipped the guys gun from his dead clenched hand. He emptied the bullets onto his hand and scoffed at the amount.
"They're pretty stupid if ya ask me. Guy only had 3 bullets in this thing."
Korvo looked down and snatched both the bullets and gun from the boys hand. "Give me that you'll shoot your eye out." He sternly said.
Yumyulack stood up aggravated. He looked up at the older man with a frown. "What the hell is the point of having me here if I can't even have a gun on me ?"
"Because I know you're just going to be reckless with it. We-we don't have time for this."
The boy scowled but crossed his arms and said nothing.
Terry limped over to Korvo's side. He placed a hand on the man's shoulder to balance himself.
Korvo had taken notice of the limp since the crash but whenever he'd bring it up Terry would just dismiss him. He figured there would be time later to ask questions and that they needed to focus on other, more important, things right now.
"What do we do now man ?" Terry questioned, nervousness present in his voice.
Korvo paused and once again surveyed the area. Up ahead he spotted a fire escape that led to what he could hopefully assume was a apartment building.
"Up there, getting higher up can help us be more undetected by these fuckers." He pointed up. "Or at least until we can figure out a plan."
Korvo made his way closer to the stairway only to see the ladder had been broken from the bottom only leaving a small part of the top left. "Aw shit..."
"The ladder is broken."
"Yeah no shit, Sherlock."
"Do you even know who that is ?"
The two kids bickering made the leaders head ache. Korvo pinched the bridge of his nose with frustration boiling in his veins. "Everybody shut the fuck up and let me think."
