We were all in the station cleaning up when Dad walked in with a slight change. "Little spring in your step there, Cap. You get laid or something?" TK asked.
"Eh, I'm just feeling a little more at home in Austin. Found an organic food market. I found a vitamin shop that sells my fish oil supplements I like a Core Power Yoga studio within walking distance. I mean the place is like New York with just a lot less trash on the street" Dad said as Mateo walked in with a cup of coffee.
"Here you go Cap" Mateo handed the coffee to Cap. "Mm" Dad said as he gave a thumbs up. I rolled my eyes, of course he taught Mateo how to make a great cup of coffee.
"Hey you cut yourself Cap?" Paul noticed the cut on his forehead. "Oh that's the other thing. I found a dermatologist that follows the same hair protocols as my guy in New York City" Dad corrected.
"You have hair protocols? I'm putting in for a transfer" Judd teased. "Hey, go ahead and laugh but I'm convinced it's the only reason I haven't lost my hair" Dad pointed out. "Hey, I'm not trying to hate on anyone for taking advantage of science to level up" Paul said. I gave him the 'really?' look.
"So every six weeks, I get my scalp injected with a drug called finasteride. It promotes hair growth. I think it's that combination of treatment and trauma that really makes your hair grow. I also use finasteride drops twice a day and then once at night orally. Also it's been great for my prostate health" Dad said with full information.
"finaster-what? I did not understand a word you just said Dad" I said and went back to cleaning.
"I think you'd look good bald" Michelle said. I scoffed loudly and everyone looked at me. "right, you'd look great Dad" I said as I went back to cleaning. Judd laughed too. "I like that shaved head look.. Bruce Willis, The Rock, It's super masculine" Michelle said.
"You've got to be kidding me" I whispered to myself. "Look all I'm saying at a certain point a guy needs to have a signature look something to define him. I'm the guy with the hair. I mean every time I get one of those caricatures from a guy on the street my hair is like enormous" Dad spoke about his hair again.
"Every time?" Michelle said.
My phone buzzed in my pocket. I took my phone out, I got a snap from Eddie. He sent me a photo of him with the dog filter on and captioned hey cutie x I quietly laughed. "Who are you texting?" Mateo asked me.
"Someone I met last night. He's cute" I said as I noticed Mateo looked offended. I didn't wanna make it seem obvious that I noticed. "Oh, cool" He replied as he backed away from me. "Mateo.."
The bell rang and that was our cue.

We walked in with a couple of bags.
"Hey this don't make no sense because that glass should be tempered for hurricanes" Judd said as we entered the scene. "Oh, I've seen this back in the city when people are committed they'll find a way" Dad said as we looked at the lady who fell off from the 3rd or 2nd floor.
"Judging by that forehead, she was very committed" I said and nodded. "Or should've been" Marj said. "She's gone" Michelle checked her pulse, nothing.
"I'm gonna go up there" I said as I took the elevator. "All right, you be careful" Dad said. "I'm always careful" I said as the elevator doors closed. "God, that was cringe" I said getting rid of that cringy-ness.
I got to the floor the lady named Liza committed.
"Bird Box?"
"Netflix?"
