We heard there was a Tank from World War II roaming around the city. A TANK. Can the thing even fire? Austin PD asked for our help and so we went a helped.

"Where do you want us sergeant?" Dad asked. "Hell if I know. We got no idea where he's going and we can't talk to him. Apparently everything on that tank works except the radio and he's picking up his phone" Sergeant spoke through the radio.

"Wait if everything works that means he can still fire at us" I said. "Let's not get any ideas" Judd spoke.

"So you know who he is?" Dad asked the Sergeant. "Lieutenant John Vasquez, he was a tank gunner in Desert Storm. Wife says he's been despondent since they buried their daughter on Friday. She was 27. Served two tours in Afghanistan" Sergeant spoke.

"She died in Afghanistan?" Dad asked. "No, she died here" He said. "We'll keep pace, Strand out" Dad said as they ended the call.

"Poor Bastard" Judd spoke. "Yeah first the world ends and now this" I said. "Plus there hasn't been a decent military funeral in a year" Marjan said. "No wonder he's pissed" Mateo said.

"Cap, I think I know where this guy's going" Paul said as he gave the iPad to Dad.

"He's headed to the VA Hospital" Dad spoke as we all headed to the VA Hospital.

"Come on people we gotta evacuate!" Dad spoke as we got the patients out of there.

"All right, Come on let's move it! Move, move, move!" Dad shouted as the team ran back inside. "Cap, there's still a lot of sick folks in there" I told him. "Cap we haven't even hit East wing yet" Judd said as he stood by me.

"We should call it" Sergeant said. "We need to consider our people's safety too" He was right.

"What about his people?" Dad asked.

Dad walked down the stairs and stood in front of the hospital. "What's he doing?" Judd asked. "Something probably stupid. Come on, we need to get these people out" I said as we ran back inside.

We got everyone out and stood by. "We can't just stand here" TK said as we walked towards Dad and stood by him.

"John, the men and women standing with me aren't moving" Dad spoke as I crossed my arms and looked ahead. This guy has to stop.

"How would Sophia feel about you taking down all these heroes. Heroes just like her? How's that gonna honor her memory? Do not make your daughter's life a footnote to something stupid you do here today in her name" Dad spoke as the tank was coming pretty close.

I was staring down at the tank. He's gotta stop. He was so close almost too close.

He finally stopped. The long tube, gun thing touched Dad's face. "Oh" Paul exclaimed. I sighed. What a relief.

"Still Standing" Dad spoke. "Let's move. Let's get him out of the tank" I heard Carlos and his team move up. "John Vasquez! exit the tank with your hands in the air" Someone shouted.

"Here" Someone gave me a gun. "What?" I said as I aimed it at John. "Y/n what are you doing?" Carlos asked me. "Someone gave me a gun" I said as I didn't shoot, I was just aiming it at him.

"Please don't shoot!" He shouted. "Get your hands in the air" One of the officers shouted.

Once we were done aiming our guns at John I lowered mine. "You know, you'd suit the police uniform" Carlos told me. "Thanks but I think I might stick with this family" I said as I walked back.

"Wow, Y/n with a gun" Judd teased. "I mean, what can I say? I can be whatever you want me to be" I said with a wink.

"Nice one Cap" I told Dad.
