"Set the plan in action!"

Chongyun pov:
It's almost 5, i Need to get ready to hang out with all the group. I took a shower and put my usual clothes on. I found it quite unusual though because usually we hand out during the afternoon and they didn't mention anything about this in the group chat. I'm probably just overthinking things, it's fine. In all honesty, I'm just going out because Xingqui is. He manages to make everything better and i still get that warm feeling inside of me that has my stomach doing backflips whenever he touches me! It still manages to amaze me how a perfect Boy Like him is friends with me, I really look up to him. His voice is so soothing, I could listen to it on repeat...

Time skip to when chongyun arrives at the picknick place

"Xingqui, hi! Where is everyone?" I greeted.
"Not sure but it wouldn't hurt to have some alone time anyway." He chuckled and clung onto my arm gesturing that I should sit down on the grass with him. There it was. That feeling that made my heart practically jump out my chest. I'm sure I must of looked as red as a chilli... Now that I think about it, those 3 usually Are Never late to events Like this. It's not often we hang out with everyone at once. Wait, could it be? No, I'm sure Xiangling wouldn't do something that evil to me. She probably just got caught up in running her restaurant, maybe rush hour.
"That's strange, there's already food here," he stated. I wouldn't mind if he repeated that over and over and over again because it's just so relaxing to hear him talk. Is this what falling in love feels like?
We sat at the edge of the cliff both admiring the sunset. It felt more magical than the others. More different. After a few minutes, I looked in the basket that was there. Cold noodles! My favourite! Well, second favourite anyways. I looked down at the delicacy and used the provided chopsticks to slurp up some of it in one go as Xingqui watched me. Wait, was he staring? I felt myself go red. Was it because of Xingqui or the chilli put in the noodles. Wait. Chilli! I reached in my bag for a popsicle just to find out that they had all been discarded.
"Xingqui! They put spicy noodles in here!"
Before he could give me water, I felt myself blackout and completely lost control of my actions.

Xingqui pov:
Oh no, it's too late isn't it? The light blue haired boy blinked for a few seconds before speaking again.
"Xingquiiiiiiii!"
"Listen, you're not in your right mind right now," I spoke.
"But I need to tell you somethinggggg darlinggggg"
What did he just call me? Darling? I felt blood creep up to my cheeks (both actually). Calm down Xingqui, he doesn't know what he's doing.
"I feel weird when u touch meee, can you do it more love?"
"W-what?" I looked at him in disbelief
"I wearwy (really) want you to hold meee, and kiss meee and f- fuck, im gonna pass out"
He looked at me blankly for a minute and then passed out on my shoulder. I knew he was gonna wake up after a few minutes

Few minutes later

"X-Xingqui?" He spoke while blushing profusely at me. It was probably just the wind that made him do that, right?
He stopped leaning on my shoulder before putting his head back on it again. I smiled.
"Cute..." he whispered under his breath but it was still enough for me to hear it.
"Did you just Call me cute?"
"Wha-! I-... that was supposed to stay in my head..."
"Well I could say the same for you."
He blushed alot.
"Hehe, I love teasing you yun yun. Your so cute when you get flustered!" I say pinching his cheeks.
"a-agh! Sh-shut up!"
For the remainder of the beautiful sunset, we sat there in silence, a comfortable silence. We didnt say anything because we didn't have anything to say. We just looked at the sun setting in awe.

"Xingqui, you've been my best friend for as long as I can remember. You make me really happy. I feel like I dont deserve you." He says, almost messing up his words.
Best friend. If only we could be something more than that.
"I have also started to realise how much I like you. More than a friend.
I sat there astounded, not sure what I should say next. I didn't have any words to say. Suddenly, I felt the gap in between us closing and his lips pressed against mine. Now I know I truly love him.
