A year later...
A pillow hits Annabelle in the face making her yelp as she shoots upright in the bed, "You have some explaining to do."
"What?" She mumbles rubbing her eyes.
She moves her hands to find the bride-to-be standing with her hands on her hips staring down at her, "You're married!"
"I know- I mean, what? Ha-ha, m-married? What are you-?"
"Don't play stupid with me, Sirius got drunk last night and told James, who told me last night."
"You're not supposed to see each other before the wedding, you told me you were just going for an evening stroll." Annabelle says climbing out of the bed and matching her disappointed stance.
"You hid the fact you were married! From me, your best friend!"
Annabelle sighs and her stance falters, "I'm sorry, Lily. It was last minute, it was actually at four in the morning, and it was over a year ago-"
"Over a year ago?" She yells.
"-It was sort of a... in the moment thing, an impulse decision, we didn't want anyone to know until after the war when we could've had a bigger reception and our friends and family could have actually come."
Lily sighs and sits beside her, "Was it nice?"
"Beautiful."
The pair grin at each other, they never could argue for over a few minutes, they ended up giggling about something or apologising within ten minutes.
"Come on, it's your wedding day. Let's get you ready."
Marlene arrives just after Lily had gotten into her wedding dress, the two girls smile fondly at their best friend watching as she sooths down her dress.
"I'll be right back." Annabelle says before rushing out of the room in a hurry.
Marlene walks up behind Lily placing a hand on her shoulder, "This is going to be a great day, you look beautiful."

Annabelle smiles softly at the newlywed couple as they dance in the centre of the crowd smiling at each other, Sirius sits beside her smiling too, but his eyes are on his own wife.
"You're staring." She whispers looking over to meet his gaze.
He shrugs, "I can't help it, you're just so beautiful."
"That reminds me," She says turning her gaze serious, "Did you tell a certain Stag about our wedding?"
His eyes widen and he grabs his drink mumbling about a bunch of excuses, she shakes her head and chuckles as she grabs her own glass of water taking a long sip.
He reaches over taking her hand with a longing sigh, "I can't wait for us to have our wedding."
"We've had it."
"No, a real one," He says shaking his head, "I want your mother there, Dromeda, Dora, Ted, Alex, Chris, Remus, Jilly, Alice, Frank, Marlene, hell, even bloody Slughorn and Dumbledore."
She giggles hiding it behind her hand, he smiles over at her and moves the hand from her mouth to see her wide smile making his brighten just a little.
"I love you, Annabelle Marie Black."
"And I love you, Sirius Orion Black."
