Sirius taps his foot impatiently, it's time for one of their weekly matchmaker meetings. And, for the sixth week in a row, Annabelle is late. For getting too caught up with her boyfriend, John.

Oh, how he hates John. He's taken his best friend way from him. They barley talk anymore, and as the days go on he gets more and more annoyed with them.

Having enough he pushes himself off of the wall and decides to wander the corridor muttering under his breath as he drags his feet behind him.

Rolling his eyes as he passes a couple trying to hide away as they giggle he shoves his hands into his pocket. That is until she sees who the couple is.

He suddenly becomes even more agitated.

He clears his throat rather loudly causing the couple to jump apart. "Paddy? Do you mind?"

"No, Belle, I was only waiting in the cold for you to snog your boyfriend."

Realisation dawns on her face, "Oh, I'm so sorry, I lost track of time again, come on, let's go, John I'll see-"

"No," Sirius interrupts holding his hand up, "Have fun, I can do it by myself."

"Paddy-"

He walks away with an annoyed huff and shoves his hands even deeper into his pockets, "Paddy!" She calls as she chases him down the corridor.

He ignores her and continues on his journey to nowhere, "Paddy, wait, come on, I said I was sorry. If being late really bothers you that much-"

He stops in the court yard and turns to face her making her take a step back, "That's not it, Belle, you barley spend time with any of us anymore, you haven't helped us with Moony this month, you've either been late or missed all of our meetings and I've been dealing with James and Lily by myself."

"I can't help I'm in a relationship, Paddy. Maybe you should try that kind of thing instead of sleeping with everything that has a heartbeat." He spits back.

He scoffs and runs a hand through his hair, "I sleep with everything?"

"Yeah, actually, you do."

"Really?"

"It's not a good thing, Paddy, you break everyone's heart, including mine, people tend to hate you for that."

He shakes his head and watches her as she crosses her arms over her chest, "Just go back to your stupid boyfriend."

She clenches her jaw and raises a brow, "Stupid? John is way smarter than you."

"Whatever," He grumbles, "When you remember who your true friends are, come find me."

"Paddy!" She calls after him, "Paddy! You can't just leave! Wait!"

He ignores her, willing every cell in his body not to turn around and give into her. "Paddy!"

He falters in his steps before shaking his head and continuing on his journey through the grounds finally stopping when he gets to the common room where he instantly throws himself onto the sofa.

"What's wrong, Padfoot?"

"Belle." He grumbles.

Just as he says her name she angrily stomps into the common room sending a glare his way, "Don't talk to me." She spits.

They can hear John calling for her from outside as she stomps up the stairs. The three boys turn to Remus who sighs and walks outside.

"What did you do?" He asks when he returns after finally getting rid of John.

Sirius shrugs, "Told her the truth."

"Which is?"

"She's becoming a self-centred bitch."

James smacks him across the back of the head, "She is not, she's in love!"

"It's not love."

Remus rolls his eyes, "Green is not a good colour on you, Sirius."

He rolls his eyes, "She forgot about another meeting, another one! Does she realise how much these mean to me? She knows how much I enjoy getting people together."

"You obviously don't enjoy them together."

"Her and John had a massive argument, its why he was outside, he claimed she's cheating on him with you."

Sirius rolls his eyes again and leans back soaking up the heat of the fire, "Sirius Orion Black!"

The four heads turn to see Lily marching down the stairs, "You can go and tell John that you and Anna are not a thing, she's up there crying her eyes out because of you, you foul loathsome evil little-"

"Evans," James interrupts grabbing the wrist with the wand pointed at his unbothered best friend, "Just leave it, he already feels bad."

She sends a glare at the three and a smile to Remus who is still reading before stomping back to her dorm to comfort her best friend.
