Yeah, I fainted. Oh how I just love fainting. Once I ended up waking up, it was back in my room, oddly enough, and once again all of my armor was off, placed nicely in the corner, as well as my clothes, as I was wearing just a nightgown again.

Looking around, I ended up finding traces of a familiar scent, well less of a scent and more like aura as I found a 2 pieces of mail on the bed side. Picking up and examining them, it found out they were both from the guild, as it was none other than guild insignia used in stamping. Opening the first one, and reading, I ended up finding that it was none other a confirmation letter stating:

"By the Recognition of the Magus Instructor Xingrei, you passed" - Gabriel Whitewing. "P.S. due to most of the rookies getting injured, there will be a 2 day break period before starting again. Get some rest."

As for the other one...

"By the Recognition of the Magus Instructor Xingrei, you are now a magus-class, as well as your other classes. Congratulations! Benefits of being a Magus-class adventurer will be listed below." To which the below part listed out the following:

Free access to the mage academy

Can join the Alkerian Knights as a Lieutenant.

Discounted price of magic scrolls, artifacts, enchantments

Discounted price of weapons, armor

Free guild food, and postal services at the Guild

Free lodging at Guild-registered cities.

Huh? Wait, I am a magus now? Just like that. Cool. I am quite confused as to how it reached this point. But I have no qualms with it.

A knocking at my door, before being opened and quietly walking in, it was none other than Sierra.

"You-" She looked quite sad. "I heard that you ended up becoming a Magus mid rookie exam. Honestly, haven't heard of something like that happening before. Though, the rookie exam was established recently 50 years ago."

50 years ago? You consider THAT recent? "Wait, why was it established. I just thought it was a test of passage."

"Well, it was mostly just to lower the amount of rookies who ended up offing themselves due to some of the most stupid stunts. This caused for the Guild to have poor standings with the public, which the Guild public relation section had to pull us out of. I think some of the bards even professed it as the "dark times" of guilds." However, due to this implementation, this way, not only the amount of quests you will have be minimized, but you will also obtain training as a rookie instead of expected to already have combat skills coming in. And you already know about the rookie exam."

"Yeah, but people can be promoted so easily?"

"Hey! It isn't easy. Not that many people have the avarice to fight against ALL of the none benefactor guild instructors, on as simple of a whim as 'because I don't want to win immediately.'"

I was shocked immediately after hearing that. "Wait! You heard that!?!"

"Don't you know already? I have eyes and ears everywhere." She boasted.

Yeah...I shouldn't be shocked by her like that. By now, this should be expected. Wait a minute. "W-what else did you see?" A faint, but cold sweat trickled down my cheek.

"Well..." An evil face appeared, similar to that of a scary mother, though I wish I could say it was that lovingly. "Apparently a certain someone ended up trying hide the fact they got all of their orbs, all high in magical energy, and although they wanted to be in first place, they wanted to use a loophole to get them in an average place before going to sleep..."
