Hera Syndulla looked grimly at her assembled crew. She had just come from a meeting with FULCRUM and now was going to give their new mission to the small crew.

"This time," Hera began, "FULCRUM gave us a rescue mission. A fourteen year old girl from Coruscant's Underground Sector was taken into custody by Imperials nearly a month ago. It is believed she is being held in a cell at the base level of the Imperial Academy here on Lothal. As a prisoner."

Hera looked around at her crew, seeing a mix of anger, concern, and confusion on their faces. Finally Garazeb  "Zeb" Orellios, a Lassat, spoke up.

"What business do they have with a kid? What could she have done to get in that kind of trouble with the Empire?" he asked.

"Well," Ezra Bridger suggested, "She is from Coruscant. And a bad part of it, too, from what I've heard." He was only just fifteen himself, but he had been through a lot in his past, and had grown accustomed to distrust. That is, until he met the crew of The Ghost.

"And you come from a bad part of Lothal," Sabine said sharply to Ezra.

Hera gave Ezra a chiding look for so quickly judging the girl. "I don't know," she answered Zeb. "FULCRUM said that one of you knew her and would be able to fill in the blanks. Her name is Aleckina Tadeef."

Sabine, Ezra, and Zeb exchanged looks, none of them recognizing the name. Kanan, however, seemed shocked and troubled. It was quite obvious to the others that he was the one who had known the girl.

Hera, seeing how the name had affected her long time friend, asked the Jedi, "Who is she, love?"

Kanan sighed. "She is half-Miralukan and has been an orphan since she was two. She trained under the same master as me, but it was a different kind of training," he explained. "She was - or is - a seer. I haven't seen her since we excaped Order 66 together. She was four then."

The rest of the crew could tell that this was a sore subject for Kanan, and, after hearing the story, became even more determined  to rescue the girl.

"So what's the plan?" Ezra asked, knowing very well that the Imperials would show no mercy to the young seer if she didn't cooperate with them. She was in real danger, and he and his friends were her only chance of escape.
