SUMMARY:
Spencer babysits his best friends Y/ns daughter Ella because Y/n has an emergency shift

"You sure your going to be able to handle babysitting her?" Y/n asked Spencer while putting her hair into a bun. "Your co-worker Aaron told me about the 'Reid effect" she mentioned chuckling

"Yes it will be fine Y/n, now go save lives" Spencer said unsurely as he stared into Y/ns eyes

You see they would never admit it to each other but they are both falling for each other, and quickly

Y/n stared at Spencer for a moment before hugging him and running out the door

Spencer watched Y/n rush out the door to go to the hospital

There was an explosion and a lot of people got injured so it became an 'all hands on deck' situation

Spencer stood there for a second, trying not to blush as much as he already was then walked into the small living room to see Ella on the couch watching cartoons

"H-hi! My names Spencer" He stuttered out kneeling down to be at the 4 year olds hight

"Hi I'm Ella! Mommy said you were going to play with me today!" The girl yelled excitedly, completely forgetting the cartoons on the tv

"Yeah I am!" Spencer yelled matching Ella's excitement, all worry he had before completely disappearing. "Well what do you wanna do first?"

The pair had an entertaining day to say the least from going to the park to getting ice cream to Spencer explaining Star Wars in the simplest way he can to Ella

So it's understandable that Y/n came home to her best friend and daughter cuddled on the couch fast asleep

"Spence.. wake up" Y/n whispered in his ear trying not to wake her daughter up in the process but horribly failed

"Mommy!" Ella yelled reaching her arms up to her mom. Y/n picked her up and the two watched as Spencer stirred awake

"What time is it" he mumbled looking around the dark room

"It is one in the morning!" Y/n said with an sarcastically excited voice

Spencer laughed and sat up looking over at Y/n with a smile

"Mommy guess what me and daddy did today" Ella yelled excitedly

Spencer and Y/n looked at each other with shocked faces

"Spence I am so sorr-" Y/n started but was cut off by Spencer talking

"You want me to be your daddy Ella?" Spencer asked the little girl as she nodded

Spencer looked up at Y/n with a sudden confidence "can I be Ella's dad.. and possibly your boyfriend?" He asked

Y/n smiled and before she knew it her lips were on his

"Yes, to both" she said stairing into Spencer's eyes like earlier that day

The moment was quickly interrupted by Ella who screamed "EW you guys are gross!"

They newfound couple laughed at the little girl then kissed once more much to her dismay

I love Spence as a dad, I'm pissed at the show for not making him a dad
