"You're not going. End of story." Ethan says. "Why must you make my freshman year suck. If I go i won't even be near you or any of your teammates." I'm going to this party he's not going to depict my whole freshman year just because he doesn't like me. "I'm going."

"Yeah no ur not." He says getting closer. Now we're face to face our noses are almost touching. I can feel my face beating up, my heart rate picking up. Oh no Avery. Ethan's leaning in? HES LEANING IN. Is he going to kiss me? Please kiss me please.

I look up a little as I'm not as tall as him. The tension is killing me. I need his lips on mine right now I can't anymore. He begins to touch my neck and lean in almost connecting our lips.

And of course an interruption, It's Ethan's teammates. "Oh." Luke says. Oh how I wish we would've kissed, I mean yeah of course no hockey players ever but Ethan isn't a bad looking guy. But he hates me god guys are confusing. That's when I see Ethan take his hand off my neck turn his head and back away from me and turn around. Come on SO CLOSE!

"Sorry to interrupt but I kind of forget my phone." Come on Luke. "Yeah of course no problem Hughes." The rest of the teammates were staring at me in shock. Again? They act like they don't see girls everyday. "Hey Luke what time is the party?" The guys looked at me as if I was insane for acting.

"Well we're gonna come back to get Eddie here." Ethan just sits on his bed shaking his head at me. Why did he have to do that. More importantly why did he have to look so good while doing it. "Just be ready by 8." One of them says.

"Wait could I get your number for the rest of the info." "Yeah here," Luke says handing me a phone. Aww his Lock Screen was a picture of him and his brothers." That's when I see Ethan's head pop up and stare at me dead. He looked as if he wanted to kill me? No he wasn't dead looking at me he looked like he wanted to kill Luke.

Is Ethan jealous? I don't exactly know if he is or if he's just mad. What I do know is I'm going to that party no matter what. I'm not going to let someone else take control of my freshman year. I'm gonna text Sarah and Abby.
