SEB POV: *Wakes up at 1:23 pm*

*Goes to bathroom*

*Gets out 10 minutes later*

*Gets on phone*

*Checks email from coach*

Coach: If you get suspended again you're gonna sit out our first game

*Out of gmail*

*Goes to sleep*

*5:30 pm*

Mom: Wake up you've been sleeping all day

Seb: I'm tired

Mom: You need to wake up

Seb: I'm really tired

Mom: Don't you have school work on your computer to do

Seb: I'll do it later

Mom: Ok *leaves*

He scrolled through the list of assignments and felt a sense of dread wash over him at the sight of all the work he had to do. He had been struggling to keep up with his school work since the beginning of the year and he knew that he was running out of time to turn things around.

*Gets a text message*

[Why is Seb not responding]

*gc*

Seb: I was sleep

Justin: Seb, you need to stop sleeping all day and start getting your act together.

Darren: Yeah man, we're all worried about you. You're falling behind in school, and you're not playing like you used to on the team.

Seb knew they were right. He couldn't keep sleeping his life away and ignoring his responsibilities. He had to step up and start taking charge of his life again.

Seb: You guys are right. I know I've been slipping lately, but I promise to do better.

RYAN POV:

Ginny: You better I wanna see you at school baby

Justin: Baby?!?

Darren: What did we miss?

Ryan: You guys are dating?

Seb: Yeah.

Ryan felt a pang of jealousy in his chest as he heard that Seb and Ginny were dating, but he tried his best to hide it.

Ryan: That's awesome, guys. I'm really happy for you.

Seb: Hey, Ryan, do you want to come over later and help me with some of this work? I could use the extra hands.

Ryan's heart skipped a beat at the invitation, but he tried his best to remain calm.

Ryan: Yeah, sure. I'd love to.

As they made plans to hang out, Ryan couldn't help but wonder if Seb would ever feel the same way he did. But for now, he had to be content with being just friends and supporting Seb in any way he could.

Ginny: If he's coming then
I'm coming

Ryan: Wait shoot..I forgot I had to do something later so I can't come

Seb: Uhm okay

Ginny: What time can I come

Seb: Now

Ginny: Ok

*Out of text*

I didn't have to do anything I just didn't want to third wheel so I just stayed home

Ryan sat alone at home, feeling sorry for himself as he watched Seb and Ginny's social media posts together. He wished that he could be in Ginny's place and be with Seb, but he knew it was impossible.

As the hours ticked by, Ryan tried his best to focus on other things, but his mind kept drifting back to Seb. He couldn't stop thinking about how much he cared for him and how much he wished that Seb could see him as more than just a friend.

Ryan knew that he had to find a way to move on from his feelings, but it was easier said than done. He couldn't just turn off his emotions like a switch, and it seemed like Seb was all he could think about lately.

*Hears yelling*

*Goes out room to see what all the yelling is for*

Ryan: What's going on

Ryan's mom: It's none of your business Ryan just don't worry and go to bed

Ryan: But you guys are distracting me

Ryan's dad: Sorry son, we'll try to keep it down. We've just been having a disagreement, that's all.

Ryan's mom: It's nothing serious, we'll work it out.

Ryan nodded and went back to his room, but he couldn't help but feel uneasy. He had a sinking feeling in his stomach that something wasn't right, but he didn't know how to bring it up.

He tried to distract himself by playing video games, but his mind kept drifting back to Seb and Ginny. It was like he couldn't escape his thoughts, no matter how hard he tried.

Eventually, Ryan gave up and just lay in bed, staring up at the ceiling. He didn't know what to do or how to feel, he just knew that things were getting more and more complicated by the day. And he wasn't sure if he was ready to handle it all. So he just fell asleep
