SUNDAY:
RYAN POV:
*Gets text*
Seb: It's almost Monday we have a project to do
Ryan: Do it yourself
Seb: We need to work on it today. Do you want a bad grade?
Ryan: Fine but you're coming over
Seb: No I can't my leg is broke
Ryan: Ugh fine
*Out of text*
I groaned as I tossed my phone onto the bed. I had been looking forward to a lazy Sunday, but it seemed like fate had other plans for me.
*He started going to seb house*
SEB POV:
Seb mom: SEBBB YOUR FRIEND IS HERE
Seb*mind*: How did he get here so fast *Runs downstairs and opens the door*
Seb: Follow me
Ryan: Okay *follows him to his room*
Ryan: Okay I forgot how to do this so you should do most of it
Seb: Don't worry I'll teach you *explains how to do it*
Ryan: Uhm okay *starts working*
As I was working on my part, I noticed Seb looking at me a little more closely than usual.
I glanced up from my work, looking at Seb's and we were looking at each other.
Ryan: You okay? I said trying to break the tension.
Seb nodded, but didn't say anything. He seemed lost in thought, as if he were struggling with something.
Ryan: Is something bothering you? I asked, feeling concerned.
Seb: I'm okay let's just get this work done
Ryan: Okay
*They work for 10 minutes in silence*
Ryan: Oh yeah I thought your leg was broke
Seb: Oh I lied
Ryan: You're really annoying
Seb: Says the one who was obsessed with me
Ryan: I was not annoying
Seb: I don't know man..
Ryan: Let's just get the work done
Seb: Okay but this is your part
Ryan: *Starts working on it*
Seb: *Stares at him*
Oli: So cute
Seb: *Looks at Oli*
Ryan: What?
Oli: You and Seb
Ryan: All we were doing was working
Oli: Seb was doing more
Seb: No I wasn't
Oli: You were staring at him
Seb: I'm not gay
Oli: Aren't you bi
Seb: Not for him he's.. ugly
Oli: Don't say that
Ryan: It's okay, I don't like Seb anyway
Seb: *Looks at Ryan, surprised*
Oli: See, you do like him!
Seb: *Blushes* Shut up, Oli.
Ryan: *Laughs* It's fine, Seb. We can just finish this work and forget about it.
Seb: *Nods still blushing*
As we continued to work on the project. We were able to finish the work quickly, and Seb even offered to drive me home.
On the ride back, we chatted about random topics, and I could tell that Seb was no longer feeling awkward around me. It felt good to know that we had moved past whatever tension had been there before.
Once we got to my place, we said our goodbyes, and I watched as Seb drove off. As I headed inside, I couldn't help but feel a little curious about what happend today of the day.
Had Seb really been staring at me? Did he like me in some way? The thought was intriguing, to say the least, and I knew that I wouldn't be able to get it out of my head anytime soon.
SEB POV:
*20 minutes later*
I was just on my phone and Oli walked in saying he had to tell me something
Seb: What is it?
Oli: Me and Regie are dating
Seb: Really? That's great! I'm happy for you.
Oli: Thanks! I just wanted to share the news with someone.
Seb: Of course, I'm glad you came to tell me.
But even with the happy news, my mind kept drifting back to Ryan. I couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more between us, that there was a spark there.
I tried to push the thought aside, but it seemed like fate kept pushing us together, whether we wanted it or not.
As I lay in bed that night, my mind racing with thoughts and emotions, I regret rejecting him
But I knew that I needed to figure things out on my own before I could make any decisions. I couldn't rush into anything just because I was feeling confused or curious.
For now, I would focus on school and my friendships, and let whatever was meant to happen between Ryan and me unfold naturally.
And with that thought in mind, I finally closed my eyes and let myself drift off to sleep.
