The next morning, Ryan woke up feeling better than he had in a long time. The conversation he had with Seb at the park and the visit to the hospital seemed to have shifted something in him. He felt more determined to take care of himself and to not let his feelings for Seb control him. He got up and went about his day as usual - brushing his teeth, getting dressed, and eating breakfast.

As he was scrolling through his phone, he realized that he had a message from Seb. It reads:

Seb: Hey Ryan, I just wanted to check in and see how you're feeling today.

Ryan smiled at the message and couldn't help but feel a little giddy inside. He responded:

Ryan: I'm feeling good. Thanks for checking in on me. How about you?

Seb: I'm doing alright. Just thinking a lot about what we talked about at the park yesterday. I really appreciate you being understanding.

Ryan: Of course, Seb. We're friends, and I want us to be honest with each other.

Seb: Yeah, me too. Anyway, did you want to hang out today? Maybe go get some lunch or something?

Ryan- Sure, I'd like that. What time were you thinking?

Seb- How about noon?

Ryan- Sounds good to me. Where should we meet?

Seb- Let's meet at that sandwich place we went to last time.

Ryan- Alright, I'll see you there at noon.

Ryan: Mom I'm leaving

Mom: Alright, have fun sweetie.

Ryan: Thanks, I will.

RYAN POV: I walked out the house and walked to the sandwich place. When I got there, Seb was already waiting for me.

Seb: Hey Ryan.

Ryan: Hey, Seb.

Seb: How are you feeling today?

Ryan: I'm feeling good. Thanks for asking. How about you?

Seb: I'm doing alright. I'm still trying to figure some things out, but I'm feeling better than I was yesterday.

Ryan: That's good to hear.

Seb: Yeah. So, what do you want to order?

RYAN POV: We both ordered our sandwiches and sat down to eat. We talked about everything under the sun - from school to our friends to our families. It was light and easy, and I felt my worries melting away.

After we finished eating, Seb offered to drive me home. As we were driving, he reached over and took my hand.

Seb: Ryan, I just want you to know that I really care about you. I may not be ready for a relationship right now, but that doesn't mean that I don't have feelings for you.

Ryan: I know Seb, and I care about you too. I want us to be friends no matter what.

Seb: Me too.

RYAN POV: When we got to my house, Seb walked me to the door.

Seb- So, I'll see you at school tomorrow?

Ryan- Yeah. Thanks for a great day, Seb.

Seb: No problem. I had a lot of fun too. See you tomorrow.

Ryan:Bye.

RYAN POV: I went inside my house and couldn't help but feel happy. I knew that things between me and Seb weren't going to be easy, but I also knew that we had a strong connection. And that was all that mattered.

SEB POV:

*Gets text*

Ginny: I'm sorry the way I treated you let's get back together

Seb: Okay

Ginny: :)

SEB POV:

As I read Ginny's message, my heart sank. I was so happy that we were back together

*text*

Seb: Guess what

Ryan: What

Seb: Me and Ginny are back together

Ryan: Thats great I'm so happy for you guys

Seb: Thank you I'll see you at school tomorrow?

Ryan: Yep

Seb: Okay bye

Ryan: Bye

RYAN POV: Seb is really confusing I'm just gonna stop worring about Seb because I'm realizing we will never be more than friends he's bi but not for me and he'll never have feelings for me, it's embarrassing that I liked him so much and he doesn't feel the same way I'm gonna let it go..

The rest of the day went smoothly for Ryan. He did some missing school work. After that he scrolled on tiktok and did his night routine. When he was done with all of that it was 11:23 pm so he charged his phone and chrome book and tried to go to sleep. He couldn't sleep so he scrolled on tiktok until he got tired at 1:34 am so he went to sleep.
