"You didn't enroll her in school?" JJ shouted at his father.

For a few seconds, he had learned that Luke had not enrolled Summer in any school. Jj felt his blood boil.
How could his dad be so fucking irresponsible.

"Don't talk to me like that son. You know I can't afford this shit!" The adult shouted back.

JJ stormed out of the house, slamming the door behind him. He wasn't scared of him, not anymore. His last hope was to take her to school with him, hoping the principal would agree. School started in an hour, there was no time for anything else. The pogues were all waiting for him in the Twinkie. Summer played with her fingers, mumbling a One Direction song, night changes. She smiled at her brother when she saw him come in.

"Summer, you're coming to school with us, big people." he said.

Kiara frowned.

"What?!"

"I'll explain."

The rest of the ride was enormously noisy. The radio played several songs while the pogues vibrated to them.

Arriving, jj took his sister in his arms and walked quickly to the principal's office. Several people stared at him as he passed, but he paid no attention, concentrating on not getting lost.

He reached the office and didn't bother knocking, he walked in.

"Mr. Maybank. What could I do for you and this little miss?" He asked.

JJ pretended to shed a few tears.

"Hi MR... sorry to bother you. You see... my father is falling into denial since my mother died and forgot to register our little Summer. However, we don't have the money and I need to watch her. She is only five years old. Can she stay with me at school?" jj said.

"Absolutely not!" The principal retorted.

Summer got in on the act and sat in the chair next to JJ. She knew when to lie if she had to, she was a smart girl.

"Pleaseeeee. My daddy really needs it." She begged him.

He seemed to be thinking and after a while, he nodded.

"Fine. But if I see any disturbances, you should find another solution." He agreed.

"Yup, mr."

Jj smiled awkwardly and wiped away his fake tear. They left the office and jj gave a high give to his little sis.

"I'm teaching you well, uh ?"

She giggled. They went to class and the whole class stopped when they saw them come in. But who could blame them ? A 15-16 years old boy came in school with his little sister. How weird was that ?

Jj coughed loudly.

"We'll just go in the back, it won't take long...."

Jj sat on a chair and summer on her brother's bag so as not to mess up her new skirt. Jj gave her his phone and after putting it on silent, he set up a little game for her. For almost thirty minutes, she played her game, not disturbing anyone. JJ pulled out a energy bar from his pocket and Summer hurriedly opened it to eat it.

She noticed a girl standing next to her staring at it, at her.

"You want some?" She asked innocently.

The girl rolled her eyes. Jj held up both middle fingers, insulting this bitch.

"Yeah, act like you don't see us."
