10. Hurting heart

Yibo lost his consciousness after few minutes and everyone took him back to the pack.

"Take him to the infirmary" his father ordered. His mother was crying seeing her son's situation. 'He has suffered enough. Now what...' That's what she was thinking.

They took him to the infirmary. The doctor in white Xiao Xingchen after examining him said "there's nothing wrong with his body. No loss of blood. No internal nor external injuries. I think it's something else. Do you know what happened there?" he asked.

"Doctor when we reached the shore yibo started screaming and suddenly shifted to his human form.  Apart from this we actually don't know what happened." His brother said.

"Did you see anything strange there? Or anybody? I'm trying to find the core reason? What about his mate? Where is he?" Xingchen asked again.

"No... Nothing... There was no one else besides us. Not even his mate". His mother replied.

"What do you mean by his mate was not there? Didn't he said in the morning that his mate is there?" He stopped for a moment and suddenly his facial expression changed as if he found something shocking .

"Could it be that his mate rejected him?? Do you think it's the reaction of that?" He asked a question that shouldn't have asked and that made everyone gasp and look at the man on the hospital bed. The question made yibo's mother cry louder and the father looked at his son miserably...

Getting rejected by one's mate is not a simple thing. The pain is unbearable. Even if that person is an alpha he will suffer a lot. There are higher chances that he might end up weak like an omega. Or sometimes they die. The pain is more like your soul is being taken from your body. The pain is more than a person giving birth. Even if that person don't end up dying those who have faced comitted suicide because of the fear of being a weakling and because of being a rejected person with no mate anymore at all.

These reasons are enough for them to look at the true blood sympathetically. Everyone know how tragedic his life was all this time. He was such a pure and good person until he turned 18. But since then he became a monster. A person who gave importance to his pleasure than any other things. If being a true blood is like this, which is totally pathetic and cursed no one wants to be one anymore. Rather than being the most powerful they all preferred their happiness and peace. Somehow they felt a kind of relief that it's not them who is going through such a great mess. All of a sudden they felt content with their life...

Five days have passed and Yibo haven't opened his eyes. He has been lying on that bed for the past five days. His breathing ensured others that he's not dead yet. At the same time they are worried about him because the doctor said there's a chance for him to not open his eyes anymore or become a vegetable person. The Luna has been waiting for her son to open his eyes. She has been sitting on a chair next to his bed while holding his hands. Sometimes she end up crying because of his life. Everyone was happy to see a cute baby when he was born. Everyone was happy to know that he'll be a true blood and strongest alpha. But why his life is always a tragedy made her cry. She has been personally taking care of him these days. Five days of lack of sleep made her doze off...

Yibo slowly opened his eyes. Everything was blurry for him. He looked around and saw himself lying on a bed with his mom sleeping while holding his hands. The smell of medicine made him realise that he is now at the infirmary. He felt his throat dried up and need something to drink. He was about to call his mom and that's when sudden pain shot up from his heart and all the images of that day came to his mind making him shiver.
