Chapter 2: The Burnt Fox

Y/N POV

I was running through this demonic Green Hill trying to focus on getting to Tails workshop but as I ran I couldn't help but look around me, probably due to the habit of me catching the sensory of Green Hill.

What normally would be flowers bouncing with life looked twisted with some having eyes in the center and the normal beautiful green grass had lost all life and stained with blood and the air felt cold and dead.

Y/N: Man all of this makes me miss home. Hopefully the others are doing fine without me especially with that Crazy Tails and Amy running around.

I soon saw what looked like Tails workshop in the distance with it looking almost destroyed with a broken window and it looking burnt on the outside.

Y/N: There it is, ok if it isn't here I'll just use the portal ring to take me to Mystic Ruins and see if his other workshop has it.

As I got closers I saw what looked like reanimated corpses of some flickies with them being mashed together so I slowed down and his behind a boulder.

Y/N: Normally I probably run past those flickies but I have a bad feeling about those things, and I'm not sure what will happen if I'll attack them, I'll just need a way to get around them.

I held the portal ring and thought of using it.

Y/N: No that'll be extremely noticable. Wait maybe the gems, which one can I use that can help in this scenario? Maybe the Red or Sky Gem, but who knows what will they do now and now isn't the best time to use them if I don't know what they'll do. I guess I'm doing this the old fashion way just can't get spotted and keep it quiet.

I went to the other side of the boulder and hopped into the air and jumped onto some higher ground and kept running but being extremely careful, I then hopped on top of a loop to loop and ran across it and started hopping onto some floating platforms and hopped across them with me looking down and saw they haven't seen me yet.

Y/N: "So far so good"

I then looked over to Tails workshop with it being a few feet away.

Y/N: "Almost there just a bit more"

I jumped onto the ground and slowly walked closer but I passed a broken star post and the sound it made, made my heart dropped to the depths of my stomach.

I then turned and saw all the mangled dead flickies looking at me and growled at me and started to run at me.

Y/N: Shit, shit shit!

I started to run like hell with all the dead flickies chasing me with me making tons of noise which attracted more.

Y/N: Come on just a bit more!

I kept running until I made it inside his shop and if this one is like the one back home it should have an emergency lockdown just in case of emergencies.
