Chapter 7: Pace Killer

Y/N POV

Me and Sonic with Crazy Amy on top of a volcano.

Sonic: We aren't going to make it.

Y/N: Hold on I have an idea, get ready to high five.

Sonic: Why?

Y/N: Just trust me.

He nodded and reared his hand back and I did the same with both our powers combining

Y/N: Double Boost!

We both fired off with us going extremely fast with both our powers combined and the blue gem so we where going extremely fast.

Sonic: Man this was much more faster then normal, totally way past cool.

Within under a second we made it to the top of the volcano.

Sonic: Tails, where are you buddy?

???: Over here Sonic.

We turned and saw Crazy Tails standing there above us.

Sonic: You must be that crazy Tails, that I've heard of.

Y/N: Where's his Tails.

Crazy Tails: Oh him, he's just hanging out.

He motioned to Sonic's Tails being held by a rope over a volcano with him tied up along with his tails.

Tails: Sonic help!

Sonic: You better let him go or you're going to get it!

Crazy Tails: You want him, then go get him or you could fight me instead?

Sonic grit his teeth but I put a hand on his shoulder and motioned my head towards Tails with me pointing to myself and motioning my head towards Crazy Tails. He then nodded and headed for Tails while I dealt with Crazy Tails.

Sonic POV

I ran to where Tails was at but before I could reach him that pink hedgehog from before showed up with a massive hammer.

Sonic: Alright lady if you are not going to let me through, I'll just have to break through with a classic sonic spin!

I spun up into a buzzsaw and charged at her but she smacked me with her hammer which made me crash into a wall.

Sonic: Yow that hurt! My head feels like a nail was hammered into my skull.

She then tried to slam her hammer onto my head but I spun out of the way and was now behind her.

Sonic: There's no way I'll deal with this on my own not like Robotnik's baddies.

Y/N: Hey send her down here I can handle both of them.

I nodded and started to spin around her making her dizzy with me doing a double jump kick which sent her falling down to Y/N.

Tails: Sonic help!

I saw Tails and saw that the rope was about to break, so I booked it to him and grabbed a hold of Tails hand as the rope broke when I tried to pull him up I started to slip with me grabbing on a ledge with Tails in one hand and my cliff with the other.

Y/N POV

I was fighting both Crazy Amy and Crazy Tails with me kicking Crazy Amy away and I had Crazy Tails pinned to the ground with me switching my gloves into my claws but he started laughing.

Y/N: What's so funny?

Crazy Tails: Oh nothing just look over there.

He made me look to where Tails and Sonic where at with him hanging onto a cliff with one hand and Tails with the other. I then felt Crazy Tails push me off him with me rolling back and landing on my feet with him only a few feet away

Crazy Tails: What do you do Y/N, stop me? Or save them? You can only do one or the other.

I looked at Crazy Tails and back at Sonic and Tails hanging on to dear life.

Sonic POV

I felt my grip slipping with me looking down with the lava bubbling and hanging onto Tails

Tails: Let go, it'll be alright.

Sonic: No way, I'm not going to let you melt in the big soup. If you go I go.

I was slipping and before I felt someone grab my hand with Y/N holding onto my hand.

Y/N: Sorry for leaving you hanging

Sonic: About time you showed up now pull us up it's boiling down here.

He then pulled me up with us pulling Tails up and us untying him.

Sonic: So what happened to that Crazy Tails?

Tails: And that pink hedgehog

Y/N: They got away besides I couldn't just leave you two.

Tails: I see, sorry I got kidnapped.

Y/N: Hey it's ok, sometimes even if the best of us need help there's nothing to be ashamed of.

Sonic: Yeah take it from him he is another me after all and have I ever led you a stray.

Tails: Your thanks Sonic or Sonic's.

Y/N: No problem.

Sonic: So what now?

Y/N: Simple I got to go after those crazy Tails and Amy again, take care.

Sonic: You too Y/N, and don't forget who you are.

Tails: Stay safe.

Y/N: No problem and look out for one another until then keep it way past cool. I can't believe I just said that.

He then ran off extremely fast with him soon glowing blue and disappearing.

Tails: Can you do that?

Sonic: Maybe some day come on let's go get some chilli dogs all on me.

We soon started to walk back to the town we were just from to get some food

Nine POV

I was flying throughout the Multiverse and when on my radar I picked up a massive surge of Paradox energy.

Nine: Y/N nearby I'm getting closer, at least I hope so
