The second Neyali and Neteyam Sully were born, they were attached to the hip. The entire clan was overjoyed at the birth of the twins, but no one was more happy than Jake and Neytiri. They loved and adored their first borns. Twins were very rare within the Na'vi people, but Jake liked to think it was genetic, seeing as he himself was once a twin. The pair were identical as babies, the only thing that helped the parents tell them apart was the fact that Neyali was born with an extra finger, resembling her father.
Jake could still remember the first time he held his first little girl in his arms, how she wrapped her hands around his pinkie as she looked up at him and gave him a gummy smile. Jake would never admit it, but he was scared shitless the moment the twins were born. He was overwhelmed with joy of course, but he was scared.
Being a father wasn't easy, but having Neytiri by his side made it less stressful. It also helped that the twins were very calm babies, they only became fussy if one was without the other for too long. They liked to sleep as close to each other as they could, wrapping their tails together to make sure the other was there. That was a habit they never quite grew out of.
As they grew older Jake and Neytiri started noticing strange things about them. They could feel one another, how they felt, or if they were hurt.
When Neteyam would scrape his knee while hunting with his father, Neyali's knee would start hurting while doing Tsahik training with her grandmother.

Neyali was only one when a new addition to the Sully family was introduced. Kiri had made Neyali a big sister and she took that role quite seriously. Lo'ak was born months later and as the four kids grew older, Neyali became more protective over them.
She remembers seeing Kiri and Lo'aks hands and getting excited over the fact that they looked like her father's and hers. Jake had a smile on his face as little Neyali was holding on to her younger siblings hands and giggling happily.
Tuk was born when Neyali was seven. Neyali was the first one to see her new baby sister, pushing her father out of the way before he could enter her grandmother's tent. She had given her mother a kiss on her cheek and looked down to see the baby in her arms.
"Yali, meet Tuktirey, your new baby sister" Neytiri had whispered with a smile on her face.
Neyali's eyes widened at the girls small size.
"She's perfect"
Neytiri nodded her head in agreement.
When the girls heard the flap of the tent open, they turned their heads to see who it was.
Neyali smiled brightly at the sight of her father, with the rest of her siblings behind him and ran towards him as quietly as she could.
"Daddy meet Tuk" She said as she grabbed his hand and dragged him closer towards her mother.
"Tuk?" Jake asked as he looked at Neytiri. He tucked some hair behind her ear and kissed her forehead lovingly.
Neytiri chuckled "Tuktirey, but I like Tuk" She confessed as she looked at her oldest girl.
Neyali smiled brightly at her mother and puffed her chest out proudly.
"Teyam you have to see her, come on" Neyali said as she pushed her twin towards her parents.
"Lo'ak, Kiri" She moved her head motioning them to walk over towards them.
Kiri was the first one to move, while Lo'ak stayed where he was at. Neyali's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. She walked closer to her brother.
"Lo'ak?"
Lo'ak gave his older sister a shy look "Are things going to change now?"
"What do you mean?"
"You're not gonna want to play with me anymore are you?"
"I'll always play with you Lo'ak, don't be silly"
"Promise?" Lo'ak asked, giving his sister puppy eyes.
Neyali brought her pinky up and Lo'ak smiled before locking his pinky with her own. It was something their father had taught them.
"Come on, you're officially a big brother Lo'ak"
Lo'ak's eyes widened as Neyali took a hold of his hand, dragging him over to meet his new sister.

Neyali would always tell her siblings that she didn't have a favorite, insisting that she loved all of them equally, which was true. She had always had a strong relationship with all of them, but she was mostly seen with the youngest Sully, Tuk.
Tuk became attached to her older sister at a very young age. She didn't see Neyali as just a big sister, she saw her as a mother figure.
Neytiri thought the girl's bond was adorable and was glad that her youngest child had someone to lean on. Neyali didn't mind Tuk wanting to tag along wherever she went. She felt more relaxed by her sister's presence, almost instantly feeling at ease having her near.
Neyali had begun Tsahik training when she was twelve, becoming an official adult within the eyes of the clan when she was thirteen.
Her and Neteyam had had their life planned out for them at a young age. Neteyam was to become the next Olo'eyktan after his father, and Neyali the next Tsahik when her grandmother was ready to pass the role down.
Neyali didn't mind it, she found it annoying at times, feeling like she had to train twice as hard as other people. She never really had time to think about what she truly wanted, sure she loved healing, but she loved hunting more. She loved going on rides with her ikran, mellie. She figured it would all be worth it in the end though. After all that training was done, she would get to rule the Omatikaya people alongside her brother.

AUTHORS NOTE: small little prologue before I start the story. I have a few chapter already written and I honestly feel like I'll be updating this story more often than my other one.
