The three people in the wizard's bedroom stand, staring at eachother in silence.
'He..... he looks like a dork!' (y/n) thought.
"Hey," (y/n) greeted.
"Hello Freggley!" Citrus happily said, walking up to him and hugging him, to which the wizard hugged back.
"H-hello Citrus" he said with a smile.
The two of them then parted.
"Freggley, this is (y/n), and he needs your help," Citrus told the wizard.
"He does? Wwwwhat do you need help withhh?" Freggley asked.
(Y/n) glanced at the floor before looking back up to him.
"Well, this might be hard to explain but..... I was pulled into this world, I'm not from here....." (Y/n) said.
It was difficult to explain his situation without sounding dumb.
Freggley looked at the Kabold and then at him.
The wizard then crouched down to the kabold's ear.
"Citrus, I- I think this boy is a lunatic....." He whispered.
"Just please try to help him, I thought the same thing but he seems serious enough....." She whispered back.
Freggley sighed and stood up, before looking back at (y/n).
"Arrreee you saying that you came from, another d-dimension?" Freggley asked, his eyebrow raised.
".....You can say that" (y/n) answered.
"Wow.... Okay, hold on a moment, thisss is..... Really b-big stuff....." Freggley replied.
"Yeah, I know....." (Y/n) added.
"I d-do not know if I cannn help you" Freggley stated with a worried expression on his face.
'ugh, great.....' (y/n) thought, sighing.
"Citrus, maybe it was a waste of time coming here..... look dude, I thought you were a wizard, shouldn't you know about this stuff?" (Y/n) asked.
"I kn-know! I know but- I'mmm not quite the most powerful wizard, I can only do a h-handful of things with my mmmagic...." Freggley replied.
(Y/n) nodded in disappointment and began to turn around before Freggley laid a hand on his shoulder, catching his attention once more.
"But, I never said I wwwwould not try....." Freggley added, giving him a soft smile.
.....
The three teenagers walked down the stair case with Freggley in the lead.
"Now, I should havvvve a book around here that can help you" the wizard said, leading them into his living room, where a burning fire place sat with shelf's of books on the sides and a few cushions around.
Looking up and down, skimming through the books, Freggley would then tap one and pull it out.
"Here it is....." He whispered.
The young wizard then opened the book and flipped through a bunch of pages before stopping at one.
"V-very well then, this should work....." Freggley told himself.
"Hey (y/n), do you p-perhaps remember where you llllanded or appeared when you came here?" The wizard asked.
"Yeah..... I do actually" (y/n) responded.
.....
After walking the way, (y/n), Citrus and Freggley arrived to where (y/n) appeared.
"This is where I woke up after blacking out," (y/n) stated.
"B-blacking out?" Freggley asked, confused as to what that meant.
"It means I lost consciousness man" (y/n) clarified.
"Oh....." The wizard replied.
"I was taking a walk when I found him slumbering here" Citrus added.
"Hmmmm, w-well I suppose this is where I'll do my part and try to get you back home (y/n), p-please stand right there where you woke up....." Freggley asked and (y/n) would stand on the spot he woke up from.
"I hope this works....." (Y/n) told himself.
"Okay, I'm g-going to do it nnnnow, are you ready?" Freggley asked.
"Mhm" (y/n) hummed and the wizard nodded.
He then opened his book and flipped back to the wanted page, before speaking the spell with a wave of his staff, "Returno ah origin!"
.....
Nothing happened, only silence stood with the chirpings of birds in the area and the breezes of wind.
"What's wrong?" (Y/n) asked.
"I- I don't know, it was supposed to work!" Freggley answered, nervously.
"Now hold on, perhaps you did it wrong?" Citrus said.
"No, I j-just said the spell how it told me to! It should've worked!" Freggley replied.
"Well it didn't, *sigh*......" (Y/n) added.
With a defeated look on his face, (y/n) looks up to his two companions and asks, "So..... Now what?"
The young wizard sighs.
"L-let us go back to the village, to the local tavvvern, I can use a snack and we can talk more about this there....." Freggley said.
Citrus nodded in agreement and (y/n) shrugged.
.....
Meanwhile, at a home in the village.....
In the fireplace lightly lit living room.
A middle aged women, undercovers and laying on a mattress rested, coughing.
The fireplace kept the room warm.
A boy walks in, his appearance hidden by the darkness.
Carrying a cup of tea his mother taught him to make, he brings it to her.
"Mother, I've brought you tea, please, drink this....." The boy said handing it to her.
"My son, thank you....." The mother thanked before coughing again.
She took the cup of tea, and sat up slowly, before sipping it.
"It is good my son" the mother complimented.
The boy then sat on his mother's mattress, and looked up to her with a caring expression.
"Mother..... I promise, I'll have you cured of your sickness, I know we cannot afford the herbs to make the remedies right now but I'll get them, I will....." The boy told her.
"Oh my son, how poor we are, how sick I am, and yet you stay hopeful, I am blessed to have such a son....." The mother said.
Hearing that made the boy feel sad, but also happy at the same time.
It hurt him to see the condition his mother was in, and wished he knew what he could do at the moment.....
