It's noon, and we're still wrapped in the warmth of our bed, basking in the afterglow of the most incredible wedding day and unforgettable night. Lying beside me is the man who is now my husband—gorgeous, effortlessly handsome with tousled hair, a sculpted jawline, a straight nose, and full lips. He's mine, completely.

Last night was so incredible, it makes me want to relive it all over again. But at the moment, my lower half feels completely out of commission—every time I try to move or shift positions, it's like something might fall apart. I think I'll be recovering for a while.

Domenico's phone has been buzzing more times than I can count, and honestly, that's what woke me up. It's starting to really get on my nerves. Meanwhile, he's still fast asleep on his back, completely knocked out after all the 'effort' he put in until six this morning.

I reached out and gently rubbed Domenico's cheek, nudging his arm in an attempt to wake him, but he didn't stir.

"Domenico," I said softly, trying again. "Wake up. Your phone's been ringing non-stop."

Still nothing. He remained fast asleep; completely out after the night he'd had.

Domenico stirred slightly, his voice thick with sleep as he mumbled, "Let them buzz off." He rolled onto his stomach and lazily draped one arm around my waist.

"Morning, wife of mine," he said with a sleepy smile that instantly melted my heart.

"Morning, husband of mine," I replied with a smile.

I shifted slightly, wincing as I tried to move.

"I need to soak in a bath. I think you broke me," I said, attempting to lift his arm off my waist and get up. The effort was futile—I barely managed to move and sank back down with a groan.

He started to laugh "Sorry, baby. I'll be gentle next time," he said teasingly, still chuckling at my misery.

I shot him a teasing look "I'm not sure we'll ever be able to repeat that," I said, hoping to get a reaction out of him.

He chuckled and stretched "Baby, next time you'll be begging for it," he said with a smirk. "You'll be so greedy, I won't be able to keep up. And by the way, I'm joining you for that bath."

Without another word, he casually got up—completely bare—and strolled into the an-suite bathroom to start running the water.

His phone started buzzing again "Domenico, your phone is going off—again!" I called out, still lying in the same spot, mentally preparing myself for the challenge of getting out of bed without looking like a hunched-over disaster.

He walked out of the bathroom, picked up his phone, and answered with a simple,
"Yes."

Sometimes I genuinely wonder who he's talking to—and how people put up with that level of bluntness. If it were me on the other end, I'd have hung up on him ages ago.

He walked out of the bathroom, phone in hand, and answered,
"Yes, I will attend," he said, glancing at me while speaking to a woman—at least, that's what I assumed from the voice I could hear from where I lay.

After ending the call, he casually strolled back toward me, still completely bare, making his way to bed as if nothing was out of the ordinary.

"Don't you have any shame?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"All of this belongs to you, baby," he replied with a grin, running his hand from his head down his torso before gesturing with a wink. "Don't forget about this part too." He said, gesturing below the belt.
