A/N | This is a loooooooooong chapter w/ lots of time skips to 🕺

"Shiro?... Why are you up?..." (Y/N) murmured, leaning up on his elbow to get a better look in the dark at Shiro.
He was putting his shirt on and it took for
(Y/N) to get up before he answered.
"It's 5:28am.." He whispered, everything blurry making it harder to read the watch.

"I'm just going to train, you can go back to sleep my love" He said quietly while hugging him lightly for a few seconds.

"Why are you Training? It's so early" He yawned and hugged Shiro again, leaning on to him a little more.

"I just am, but don't worry. Just go back to sleep" He left a small kiss on his head and tried to pull away from the hug but failed when he was only pulled in closer.

"No, come back to sleep" (Y/N) said and lifted his head to make eye contact with him.

"You can, I'm going to train. So please release me, love" He was then pulled back down onto his bed very forcefully, his head now on (Y/N)'s chest.
"Please, let me get up?" He asked very politely.

"No, your not leaving til at least 7:30" He muttered as he went back to sleep while hugging him tighter into his chest.

"Okay, fine, but can I please get more comfy first?" He asked and waited for a response, though there wasn't one when he saw (Y/N) had gotten back to sleep already. He didn't want to go against him just because he fell asleep so he put his head on the pillow and pulled (Y/N) into his chest instead, it being easier because he was bigger.

Time skip to 8am

(Y/N) woke up once again to no Shiro, he got up very sluggishly and got changed, then going through to the training wing and squinting his eyes to see Shiro since everything was blurry again.

"Why were you wanting to get up so early?" He asked very groggily as he was not stood a few steps back from him, letting Shiro turn the bot off to turn around and speak to him.

"Just wanted to come and train" He panted, taking a few steps closer to him and resting his head on (Y/N)'s shoulder, catching his breath.

"Did you just get up after I fell asleep again?" He asked while lifting his head off his shoulder.

"No, course not. I waited till half seven like you said" He stepped away and turned the bot on and continued to train.
'Guess I'm going then' He thought to himself as he walked away.
'I wonder why he really wanted to get up so early..' He pondered for a few moments while he walked but just tried to shrug it off.
Shiro was then not there when they all ate, making him a bit confused. But again, just choosing to shrug it off.
He went back hours later to see if he was still training and he was, he walked over to him and turned the bot off.

"How come your still training?" He tilted his head a little to the side, something he usually did which Shiro found adorable.

"Just because I guess" He was a bit out of breath, but managed to catch it again after a minute.

"Is there something wrong?" He asked in a gentle tone, seeing Shiro's facial expression relax and then tense up slightly again.
Before he could answer the paladins we're all called to get in the lions and go down to a planet to defend some people from the Galra.

Another time skip to after

"What happened out there man?" Lance asked Shiro, who seemed to be in a bad mood now.

"Nothing happened" He sighed, accidentally snapping at Lance. He was going to ask again but Keith signalled for him to stop by putting his hand on Lances shoulder.
