A/N | This is basically where (Y/N) is a shapeshifter, like with animals n that. So able to control what animal to transform into and if just being a human could have just the ears and or tail of an animal and what not. IK THIS IS RANDOM BUT I JUST HAD THE IDEA AND THOUGHT IT WAS COOL. :D SORRY MY A/N IS SO LONG.

Shiro woke up with no sign of (Y/N), he blinked slowly a few times before being able to see a bit better. He was about to lift his hand to sit up but stopped when he realised there was something in his hand. When he looked down he saw a small mouse curled up, definitely asleep. He just guessed that (Y/N) had shifted in his sleep on accident, he did that often but it was normally just that he'd get different ears. There was a squeak before he'd turned back to being human and started to wake up.
"Morning sleepyhead" He said quietly, giving him a chance to wake up a bit more.
"G'morning.." He yawned, hugging him until he'd sat up. They both got up and (Y/N) went to train, he didn't know what Shiro was doing, he thought he must just be going to his lion. He generally tried to train without constantly shifting because it would take up a lot of energy. He was about to be hit until he shifted into a wolf and leapt on top of the bot, pinning it to the ground. He hopped off the bot after the level was finished and returned back to being human, besides still having the ears and tail of a wolf, he was to tired and hadn't seemed to notice it.
"I'm so tired.." He muttered to himself, walking back to his room. When he got to his room he just flopped onto his bed. 'I don't even know why I'm so tired' He shrugged it off and rolled onto his back, he was tired yet didn't want to sleep. He went to the hanger to see if Shiro was there, when he walked in he saw Pidge excitedly explaining something while Shiro listened. He walked over to them and listened to what Pidge was saying.
"Did you realise about your ears?" He whispered, not wanting to interrupt Pidge.
"Oh, no I didn't" He tried to get rid of them but failed, he sighed and clenched his teeth together a bit. Shiro gently petted (Y/N)'s head which made him ease up a bit more, then making his tail wag a little.
"Is your tail wagging?" Shiro asked and chuckled to himself.
"No, course not" He tried to stop it but couldn't.
"Totally is" He teased. (Y/N) glared at him and snarled lightly, his sharp canines being exposed. He then stopped teasing him about it and just continued to pet his head gently. Pidge finished explaining whatever she was talking about, just in time to since they were all called to go and help a planet from the Galra. (Y/N) had managed to get rid of his ears and tail by the time they'd gotten down and onto the ground. They were all out of their lions and quite confused, there was no Galra.
"The fuck?" (Y/N) muttered quietly as he leaned his weight into one leg and put a hand on his hip.
"That's weird" Hunk said as he put his bayard away. There was sudden lasers being shot at them, them all retreating to their lions while (Y/N) turned into a cat the size of a wolf and dodged in between the shots. He managed to find a rock to hide behind to catch his breath. Everyone was speaking on the communicator all at once, speaking over each other so no one actually knew what was being said.
