Chapter 35: The upcoming S-Class trail

Cana: I'm going to leave Fairy Tail and I might not come back.

Y/n stood there in completely shock as he stared at Cana for a bit, thinking she might be joking around and trying to lower his guard but for the first time in her life she looks very serious and wasn't a joke or she's not drunk in anyway possible.

Y/n: (shocked) Y-You serious, right? Why do you want to leave Fairy Tail?

Cana just simply look away and stare at the window while grabbing her shoulder and telling him while not turning to him.

Cana: I......Its hard for me to say but I just....

Y/n: Cana. If there is something wrong then maybe I might help or everyone at the guild will-

Cana: Just listen! I won't leave right now, there's gonna be an announcement of the S-Class trail which I'm gonna take part. After that's done I'll leave the guild.

Y/n: But why telling me this? And wait, why do you want to take part of the S-Class trail even though your gonna to leave after the trail?

Cana: I have my reasons. Look I gonna go now but see you tomorrow Y/n.

Before Y/n could ask her anything she left his house. He stand there for a bit as he sat down on the couch as he thinks to herself.

Y/n: (thought) Is she really leaving Fairy Tail? No, it's Cana, I'm sure she must be drunk and I didn't see it probably or maybe it's just a joke but the look at her face tells me that she's not joking but rather serious. Still what is the reason. He arrived at the guild and see all the guild members gathered around as Makarov and Guildarts were in stage as Y/n finds Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Happy, Erza, Wendy and Carle there as he walked up to them as he and everyone else listen to Makarov as he tells them all.

Makarov: Okay everyone listen up! Tomorrow will be the S-Class trail. As you all know that this trail will test your skills and magic just to see if one of your members will be promoted to S-Class. This year will be difficult but I believe that some of you will do your best for this S-Class trail.

Natsu: (smirk) Finally time to move up a rank and be the strongest wizard ever!

Happy: (smile) Not to mention bigger rewards on S-Class jobs.

Wendy: (smile) This is going to be interesting.

Erza: (smirk) Can't say me and Y/n will go easy on all of you.

Erza: (smirk) You are an S-Class wizard as well. S-Class wizard take part as challengers for wizards to go through.

Makarov: For the wizards who will be taking part of the S-Class trail will be the following; Natsu, Gray, Lucy, Happy, Wendy, Gajeel, Levy, Cana, Lisanna, Elfman, Juvia, Freed, Evergreen, Bickslow, Aira, Danlila Leigh and finally Mest.

Makarov: For the S-Class wizards I suggest you all get ready to battle your opponents tomorrow. Wish you all good luck and take care.

After that everyone goes back to their usual duties while some who are going to be taking part gets exited and can't wait for the trail. Then Erza noticed Y/n looking around so she asked.
