Chris, Leon, and I were currently in the chopper staring at Professor Chamber's laptop, luckily it had survived the ambush. You brought up the map and looked at all the areas that the Professor had marked. You were observing all the data for a solid 5 minutes till everything clicked in your head at once. You were a genius, Chris wasn't expecting that from you but when you solved the misconception between Ada and Carla, he was shocked. From your facial expression, Leon and Chris could already see the light bulb on your head. "All the attacks so far are connected to the Great Lakes, which also happens to be a great source of mineral drinking water. The base virus seems to be the "dormant" trigger. Arias put the base virus in the water. The trigger to the virus is airborne. He also made a vaccine to prevent the spread of the outbreak and most likely already vaccinated the people he didn't want to be affected by the virus." Chris smirked at you. "You're getting a promotion, kid" and you smirked back at him.

"You're a genius," Leon said, patting your head. After spending almost a year with you, he noticed you like validation. I mean either way you are a genius who deserved being praised. You saved their asses, TWICE. You saw something and nudged Chris a little too hard. "He's gonna use the trigger  on NEW YORK?!" Chris said... well, yelled. "Seems like it" Leon and I said at the same time staring at Chris with the same bland expressions. "He's out of his mind," Chris said. You turned towards the laptop and started reading again. "The outbreak is deemed uncontrollable. Trucks labeled with a red A contain the virus and are ready to deploy. Location..." You looked at the location and your face held a very disappointed expression. "Classified!" your face looked exactly like this... "-_-". The boys just discussed finding the trucks and where Arias would keep them.

Leon liked treating you like a kid sometimes, he found your expressions cute. Sometimes you got pissed at him and sometimes you just cheekily grinned. You would look at Leon and smile but you were currently busy filling up the 'Glenn Arias's Shenanigans'. Leon noticed something and snatched the book from your hand. "Los Illuminados Cult type of shit, get intel from Leon S(cardy cat) Kennedy... with a bunch of disappointed and crying faces. My middle name is Scott, you know." Leon looked straight into your eyes, you could not read the expression. You looked away with an embarrassed 'oh, I fucked up' kinda face. "What? I thought you got scared of me and ran away." You made up a very lame excuse. Leon just chuckled, since you were busy hiding your red face, you didn't notice Leon looking at you with literal heart eyes. The whole Alpha Team knew about the thing you and Leon had because you would never shut up about him. Leon closed the diary and saw the label on it, he couldn't help but chuckle again. "Glenn Arias's Shenanigans. You're cute.l" Leon ruffled your hair and returned the diary

All of you were preparing your gear... well not all of you. Your gear seemed to have a wardrobe malfunction. Before you left the BSAA headquarters last night, the ones who packed your gear accidentally replaced your vest with a damaged one, you hadn't noticed because you didn't sleep well last night and had no sense whatsoever when you were dressing up. Someone was about to get fired. You sat there with a pissed-off face. At least you had a harness to keep your pistols. You held your assault in your hands. You were wearing a loose black t-shirt and camo pants which fit your curves perfectly on your waist and went loose till your ankles. The harness made your t-shirt fit your skin. When you removed your damaged vest and replaced it with a harness, Leon and Damian were eyeing you as if they could see your soul. They had seen you in casual clothes before but this look was just sexy. You didn't look like a 5-year-old in a life jacket because the vest was always too big for you, you managed fine, though.

"The BSAA and NYPD SWAT are on the ground for the sick of it. The state police won't get there... for another 3 hours!" Nadia said, listening to the comms. "So that means we have to get to Arias all by ourselves. Fantastic!" Leon said, aggressively loading his magazine into his pistol. Why is he so goddamn hot? "Yo, the signal is getting worse." We all walked to Damian and he showed us a clip of a truck releasing gas, the trigger. "He's not trying to turn a couple thousand-" I cut Leon off. "He's trying to turn everyone."

"Professor Chambers' research says the virus can't handle the heat," you said looking at the small book in your hands and whatever was noted in it. "Perfect. Just light a match and watch it burn." Leon said, smirking at you. Your stomach was doing backflips. "Alright, tell us the plan," Chris said, turning towards you. "Okay, we have 4 things to do... 1. Blow up the tankers. 2. Get the Professor back. 3. Get the vaccine and deploy it in the city. 4. Get Glenn Arias." I said as I stepped away from the laptop counting the goals on my fingers. "Whatever you say, Boss," Leon said while the others just nodded at you.
