Prince Allexander the 57th

Mmmgh my head.

Oh, my head.

Auu what happened? Where am I?

Why is it so bright?

Mmmgh Oh no I'm going to throw up.

No no don't move. Aurgggh breathe. Don't throw up. You will not throw up.

Why is the world spinning? What happened?

Slowly opening my eyes again mmmhmm its too bright, too bright. Oww why am I hurting? How is the world spinning with my eyes closed? What happened? Why can I not remember anything? Auurgh, it hurts to think. Come on open your eyes. Mmmgh why is it so bright?

I slowly sit up my head resting on the board threatening to tip over. My head feels so dense, so weird. I slowly opening my eyes again. Good at least I am home. Wait how did I get home? When did I leave? Why can I not remember anything?

I spot my mother sitting in the corner silently staring at me surrounded by her entourage. Great. What I need right now. A lecture. I slowly pull up my covers feeling exposed like a caged animal. Mother slowly gets up walking towards me. She looks so tired. Not disappointed just tired.

Mmmgh my mouth is so dry. Ignoring her I grab my usual bottle of water and meds as she starts her rant.

"Congratulations, Alexander. You are officially viral." She tuts.

Taking another sip, I rest my head back a little too quickly bumping it into the headboard. "Oww,.. Tone it down." I croak, my head pulsating in pain. Rubbing my head I feel a slight cut. When did that happen? What in the empire happened?

"Hey, watch it." I growl as mother's assistant unceremoniously drops a stack of newspapers on top of me.

"Are we intruding your pity party Alexander?" Mother asks with a hint of sarcasm.

"Not so loud." I repeat shoving the papers off me.

"Oh, sorry Honey am I being TOO LOUD, perhaps we should let the international media know that you are too hangover for a scandal." She exclaims sarcastically raising her voice deliberately.

"Can we not do this now? My head is splitting." I mutter closing my eyes.

"What precisely was going through your mind last night? Were you even thinking? Enlighten me, Alexander. Or should I refer to you as 'Party prince', 'Scandalous Sovereign', 'Thrown Rebel', 'Crown Charlatan,' or my personal favourite 'Regal Rogue'." She exclaims.

I slowly stretch out yawning shaking my tingling hands.

"Alexander are you even listening to me?" she exclaims.

"Of course." I retaught sarcastically taking another sip of water clearing my dry throat.

"I am utterly perplexed by your recent behaviour. This is incongruous with your character. What is going on with you, Alexander?" She asks.

"Someone get me some coffee." I order with a yawn rubbing my hands trying to get rid of the creepy crawly sensation. Why are they still tingling?

"Alexander." she sighs. "It is that boy. A pernicious influence." she mutters to herself. "You will no longer be associating with him." she commands turning her attention back to me.

Rolling my eyes I snap back "Not this again. How many times do I have to tell you. Leave Mateo out of it."

"The misguided sense of loyalty you have towards that plebian." She sneers shaking her head. "He has you wrapped around his little finger."
