Hux's pov

We continued to eat as if nothing ever happened. Thank the stars. I'm kind of sick of this flirty attitude he's picked up recently, i'm not attracted to him, sure he's hot (like really hot) by I had sex with a woman last night for stars sake.

Ren spits out his drink and coughs. "Ren that was disgusting."

"So are your thoughts." oh. OH! My eyes widen.

"We'll thats- just stay out of my mind!"

I think I drank an entire bottle of wine, I need to be at least tipsy to be able to tolerate this man and his really fucking hot face.

Ren was having a shower so while he was distracted I called Phasma.  "Hello?"

"Phasma! Thank the stars you picked up, something awful happened today!"

I could hear her panic, "What is it! Did they join the resistance?"

"Worse."

"Has someone died?"

"Worse!"

She sighs, "I give up, just tell me."

"Kylo Ren..." it makes me sick just thinking about it, "called me handsome."

She started laughing, "What?! Really?! I feel like i'm going to throw up. Is that even possible? Tell me how this happened."

"Well, earlier we were at this fine dine restaurant-"

"WAIT! You dined together?" she asked in disbelief.

"Yes. It was grudgingly, anyway and we started talking about some things, he read my mind and all that and we got onto the topic about how I think Im ugly. Then he was all like Genral," I put on a deep mocking voice , "I can't believe I'm about to say this blah blah blah, you are so handsome."

"First off, you are the opposite of ugly, secondly ew, third of all do you think he might like you?"

"No! The worse part is the waiter came back because he forgot to take our drinks order and witnessed the whole thing."

Phasma burst out laughing, "Oh my stars- That's!" i heard the shower stop.

"Sorry Phasma got to go!" I said in a rush.

Ren came out. Fully clothes (thankfully). "What was going ? I heard giggling?" He couldn't believe it when he said it.

I straightened my face, "Must be next door, I was working." he nodded, slightly confused. "Well I'm going to bed!"

He looked down at me, "Me too."

"Good night, I guess." he nodded as I said it.

I lay awake in my bed. I was tired, exhausted, but for some unknown reason I couldn't sleep. I'm a little tipsy as well, that should of helped me fall asleep. I just keep thinking about the medicine and why i didn't take it. I know why now.

"Why?" Ren asks. I look up.

"What?" I scrunch my face and sit myself up, what's he going on about now?

"You said you knew why you didn't take the medicine. I hate to be nosy but I'd like to know." he was now sitting up on the sofa. "Was it my fault?"

I scoff, "Why do you care? Actually, what with this new attitude of yours? I don't like you and you don't like me, that's how it is, why are you trying to change that?"

He looks hurt? Is he going soft? What is going on? "It doesn't have to be though, we would make a remarkable team." He speaks soothingly. Maybe it's the alcohol though.

"No! We are enemies until the day we die! Good night!" I practically throw myself back in the bed in anger.

"Why don't you just tell me, it may help." he paused, "and if you don't tell me I can always find out in other ways. I think it would be better for you to tell me personally."

I huff. I guess i'm really doing this. "Fine. Don't laugh though."

"I won't."

He sits up in his seat, his eyes have widened, he probably wasn't expecting that. "What? I'm so sorry. But why would I ever laugh about that?"

"Everyone does, it's embarrassing isn't it?" I'm genuinely confused, "My dad laughed at me, my teachers laughed at me, even my friends. Because it's embarrassing, I was weak and stupid."

"No you were innocent and a victim." What?

"I- anyway. I was training and i'd left my water bottle out of site. Someone put something in it and tried to-" I was biting back tears at this point. Stop it! Stop it! You are being weak! It's not a big deal! "do stuff to me. I don't even know how I got away. It was all a blur."}}}}

I felt a tear run down my cheek. "Sorry I'm being stupid, it's not even a big deal, I-" before I could finish he pulled me into a hug. "Please get off me."

He pulled back and his eyes widened, "Sorry I- I don't think it-"

"I'm going to sleep, don't talk to me."

"But i think-"

"No, you said it yourself all I had to do was tell you and it would make me feel better. I don't and I still hate you. I hate you even more that i've revealed my weakness and shared that, so i shall never speak to you again unless it's regarding work."

I lay down. I hear him sigh.
