Lying in my bed in excruciating pain I twisted and turned in discomfort, today i had got my period, and we were currently low on pain medication so I couldn't have any, due too other people having more severe injuries. As I was layed in my bed pretty much shaking In pain I hear three rhythmic knocks on my door, as I pull myself up I look in the mirror, my eyes puffy from littlerly crying in pain, my breasts visible through my white shirt because bras were too uncomfortable, some oversized black sweatpants and messy wild hair, I was panting like I dog because of the pain I was in, "Comingg" I croaked out, waddling over too my door, I opened the door too see enid and Carl stood there, carls face twisted too shock as enids twisted too a soft smile, "Jesus fucking christ, you okay?" Carl asked, "you look like you just got out a fist fight with a walker," "Girl are you on your, yknowww" Enid said sympathetically, I nodded in response, carls face now contorting too confusion, During the apocalypse carl was taught by Maggie sex ed and all of that, and during runs he'd find old pornos that explained the rest, he knew the basics of, 'Care for a girl on her period, give her cuddles and dont judge her for it!' But he didn't know code words, obviously. "Yknow?" He asked looking back and forth from me too enid, "Yknow, period!" Enid whispered in his ear, "Oh, sorry about thatt?" Carl said rubbing the back of his head awkwardly,this made me laugh, "Nothin too feel sorry for carl," I said weakly but as kind as I could sound, "what did you two need anyways?" "OH nothing, its just 2 in the afternoon we wanted too check if you were, alive?" Enid giggled, "Barely, " I said in response. "Well do u wanna just hang out?" Carl asked, "Not today, guys, im too tired too be running around, and Jesus, people would think I was bit if they saw me." I laughed, "No I mean just hang out inside, I've got a shit load of comics, snacks and board games in my room, and I don't care how you look, your still pretty," he said softly looking at enid who was nodding in response, "Yeah, that sounds good, can I get dressed into something, cleaner, first?" I asked, which they agreed asking me too meet them in carls room after I had, I washed my face and everywhere I needed too, putting on some deodorant, brushing my hair and putting on a quick but better outfit.

I walked to his room, before gracie stopped me, "Hey YN?" She asked "Yeah Gracie?" "Do you have any toothpaste?" "No but you can go ask around, im sure there's spare," "Oh ok,also um, your arms, why would you show those. Its like your asking people too notice." She said coldly before walking back too her room, before this your arms never bothered you,your arms were littered with scars but no one had ever mentioned them before, the only time people had said anything was when they were fresh, and that was normally only an 'are you ok?' Or helping me clean them. I stopped in my tracks looking at my arms, before putting my hoodie on, wiping tears from my eyes as they trickled down my face, I took a deep breath before walking too carls room, knocking on the door.
Carls Pov:
I was laid on my bed, enid laid next too me drawing animals and plants and whatnot, when I heard a knock on the door, I shouted too come in and YN walked in, she looked gorgouse and I think enid thought the same,her cheeks dusting a rosy pink, "How does she look so pretty even when she feels like shit-" Enid whispered, as I shrugged my shoulders in response, YN walked over to my bed sitting on the carpeted floor next too it, "What are you doing?" I laughed, "Sitting?" YN questioned, "Get up here." I patted the space next too me, she did so inching herself closer too me as she grabbed a comic book off of my desk.
~timeskip, 20 min~
"Hey YN?"Enid asked breaking the silence, "Yea?" She asked looking up from her comic, "You ever had a boyfreind....or a girlfreind?" She asked blushing slightly, "Oh, uh, in my old group I had a boyfreind and he cheated, and then I had a girlfreind and she broke up with me , before that I liked people, but they never felt the same." She said laughing weakly,"why uh, whyd u ask anyways?" "Oh no reason," she blurted, whipping her head back too her sketch pad. "I love you both," YN whispered looking away, "Pardon?" Enid said, " I said I love you both, your both so cool and smart and brave, the complete opposite of me, I dont even know why you care!" YN confessed, sniffling on the verge of tears. I put my arms around her , holding her closely too me. Enid brushed her hands through YNs hair, "We love ya too YN, and don't think that about yourself, your amazing, got it?" Enid cooed, "Yea you are," I said, kissing her head. She snuggled up too me, her head on my chest, her hair sprawled out, as she slowly fell asleep. " how do you love her, enid." I asked, looking down at sleeping YN, " I think you know how, how do you"
"Same way you do."
"So, we both love the same girl,"
"Ye, and uh, I need too tell you carl, I love you too, i love both of you, don't think I'm weird." Enid mumbled, "I love you both too." I murmured, kissing enid quickly, before pulling away and smiling. After a while we all were asleep in eachothers embrace, what were we gonna do about this, could we all love eachother, and could it be ok?
