I woke up in a comfortable bed, cuddled up too carl, he snored soundly as I pulled myself up slowly trying not too interrupt his sleep, he looked so sweet when he slept, so calm. I looked around the room for enid and she was nowhere too be found, I got up out of bed and looked around the house, just too find her in the kitchen eating a bar of probably expired chocolate, "Morning," I said sleepily as she looked over too me, "Morning, you the only one awake?" She asked sweetly, too which I nodded, I walked over too her wrapping my arms around her waist and resting my head on her shoulder, "Im so fucking tired," I groaned, "Who isnt," she laughed, putting the half eaten bar of chocolate infront of me, "Try it," she said as I took a bite, "Too sweet for the morning, I prefer saltier stuff," I said, before kissing her cheek, "What time we leaving?" I ask, "From what I know about 11am" she said before looking at the clock, '8:21am' " ill wake carl up at nine if he doesn't wake up earlier, Maggie's at carols right now, doing God knows what," enid said before turning around and looking at me, Me and enid were simular heights, I was probably about a centimeter taller, if that, I kissed her nose and wrapped my arms around her waist tighter, burying my face into the crook of her neck,I pulled away, "Im gonna get some food," I smiled turning away,

I walk up the stairs on my way too wake up carl, as I walk in the room there he lays sleeping soundly, I crouch next too him flicking his nose, "Wake up, wake up, wake up,wake up," I repeat as he groans, "Five,five more minutesss," he groaned turning away from me, I stood up and sat next too him on the bed, playing with his hair, "Its 9o'clock lovely, time too wake up hm?" I said, he turned too face me shielding his eyes from the sun, "Put on the hat," he croaked, "What?" I laughed, "Put on the hat" he repeated, before grabbing his hat and throwing it at my face, "Put it on, be careful" he groaned smiling tiredly, I did so, adjusting it too my still bedhead messy hair, He smiled before sitting up, looking at me, "Pretty girl," he said, it seems that the main compliment we all said too eachother was either pretty girl or pretty boy, ot was so simple but perfect. "You gonna get up now," I rubbed his cheek, he nodded, Dragging himself out of bed,I walked into the bathroom, washing my face and brushing my hair, I walked out and went too grab my bag, "What shirt should I wear," carl said holding up too identical grey shirts, "The grey one," I laughed grabbing myself some clothes and getting dressed, enid walked into the room throwing a clean coat at me, "Hey, I found it in the closet, for you, mornin carl!" she smiled at me and him before walking out,

I walked downstairs with carl, as we walked into the living room enid sat on the sofa reading a book she had brought with her, as she sat next too her bag, the time was '9:39' and we were finally starting too hear more and more people outside, doing jobs, socializing and whatnot, I sat next too enid as carl went too get some food from the kitchen, "You look pretty today," enid smiled, "Says you," you replied as she stretched her legs out onto yours, carl walked in with a sandwich, sitting down next too us, "Yknow, asmuch as this apocalypse fucked us all over, I know I wouldn't have met either of you without it, and im grateful in this world I could find happiness outside my family," he said with a mouthful of food, "Very, very grateful, and feelings mutual, but swallow your food before eating," enid laughed, we all laughed together about it, as Maggie walked in, "We are heading out at 11 guys, you got everything?" She asked too which we all said yes, me, enid ,carl and Maggie all talked until it was '10:32', we all got up and left, locking the door and walking too our van, we all said our goodbyes and got in the van, heading down the road and too our next destination.
Enid Pov:
From what I knew we were headed too another village, smaller one but from what we knew was pretty much untouched, we drove down the road, listening too 90's music on the CD player.
~1 hour later,~
We pulled up too the town, it was nice, deserted and had a fair amount of walkers in it, but it seemed unscathed from human contact, besides some graffiti and ammo shells, but that was common everywhere now. "Lets go guys, check round, grab anything useful, its already almost half 12 and we lose light quick so be efficient with your time," she said before walking over too a small convenience store, "I'll go check that little shop over there," "Ok ill check that flat," "I'll just see if there's anything round the grounds, like guns or whatever," We all agreed too what we were doing and went off im separate directions, I walked into the little shop I saw, I only had too kill one walker and it seemed too have been trapped under a falled shelf, I walked around using my flashlight as a guide, I found a med kit under the counter, and more in the shop, walking around the shop was a bit nostalgic, it was a gift shop, yknow random trinkets and shit, I kept looking around until my eyes hit a pack of bracelets, 3 bracelets, one gold, one silver and one bronze, they all had heart ingraved on them, I nabbed the pack and put it in my pocket, making my way back too the van. Waiting for everyone else too finish up.

We had been on the road for a bit now, it was getting darker and darker, from what Maggie knew we were about 30 minutes away from the hilltop, YN had fallen asleep on my shoulder, I played with her hair and hummed the song that was playing on the music player, a few minutes later the car began too wobble slightly up the rocky and muddy hill, we were back home at last, as the gates opened we were welcomed back by everyone, we unpacked the stuff we got, the cooking stuff too the "chefs" the medicine too the "doctors" and so forth, We walked back into the main house retreating too our rooms, saying goodnight too eachother. I hopped into bed, thinking about things, thinking about life, thinking about carl and YN, thinking about everything, as I slowly drifted off into a soft slumber.
