update + hiatus

okay so. i know this is like an extremely annoying thing to do since i know quite a few of you have really enjoyed this fanfic so far, but i've come along a few bumps in the road

i've had some people point out the fast pacing, and honestly i agree heavily. not to mention, y/n really has no personality whatsoever.

a lot of this is more because i didn't know how to write a fanfic/story on wattpad in general (and didn't quite know what people would be looking for, so i made her super general)

but at this point she feels really bland and basic. and i doubt there's a much of a way for me to fix it at this point in time.

so, for the most part i might be leaving this book on a hiatus or leaving it up as a scrap and working on a better, improved version.

i'll likely still use most of the elements of this story, just more consistent. i jumped around a lot and ended up forgetting so many details it isn't even funny 😭

i'm proud of the description in this book, but i hate to agree that the pacing and consistency is outrageous. y/n as a character seems so bland that it genuinely isn't enjoyable to write her character.

the more i think abt the pacing issues the harder it becomes to write too, and now i'm experiencing huge writer's block.

i understand the frustration with this, so i do have a few books linked/in my reading list that you should 100% check out if you're wanting kyle fics. they're seriously so amazing oml

i again apologize ☹️ and as for the improved book, it will likely take awhile to get out. i want to write a few chapters to put out all at once so you guys aren't waiting so long

i'll try to give myself a break instead of completely abandoning this book for now, and see how that goes! i just didn't want to ghost you guys forever on an update
