Chapter 3

Chan's POV :

The others are back from celebrating of a possible debut, I ask them if they like the name 'Stray Kids'.

All of them agreed and said it was great. I'm pretty glad we came to an agreement.

"But Chan, JYP also said we need to choose our first song to cover Live, for the first round."

"Oh. I didnt know, do any of you have any songs in mind?"

Jeongin was the first to respond.

"How about a Twice song? We can add our own twist to make it original !"

The members all nod in agreement to his idea.

"Okay ! We can do that, so let's listen to some Twice Songs together to decide on the song we'll practice."

I bring them to a dance practice room and we listen through a lot of songs. In the end we decide to do 'Cry for me'. And add a rap part for 3racha.

Cry for me's dance is simple enough for us, especially the group Hyunjin, Felix and Minho made, calling themselves 'Danceracha' coordinating with '3racha'. And the remaining 2 deciding on being 'Vocalracha'.

There's only a month left until the first round of the survival show. And it's going to get worse.

The other members chose to start training tomorrow morning, and get some rest now.

However, instead of sleeping, I chose to look into the plan and voting system for the show. I want to know everything about it and how it's going to work.

Both sides have 8 members each, and there will be 3 rounds. Each member of each team gets their own score, with the full mark being 100. If a member's score drops down to under 60, than they're eliminated, and will continue being trainees. And the team with the most marks from all the members combined at the end of the show, will debut.

That means if all 8 of us want to make it through to debut, none of us can ever score under 60. However, there's no way that all 8 of us will make it to the final line up. Because if no one gets eliminated, the show will become boring, and the views and revenue will decrease.

This might be my last chance to debut, and fulfill this dream of mine.

We've got a long day ahead of us  I'll got to sleep . I need to be energized tomorrow.

"Everyone wake up, change and get to the 5th floor dance room !"

Changbin's voice wakes everyone up at 6am.

We all quickly get dressed and head to the dance room.

I put on Cry for me's dance practice video, and we try to memorize the dance moves.

Everyone finds it easy to memorize as it really isn't too difficult, but we also need to make one where we can add a rap part. And sing while we dance.

Normally stuff like this should take a lot more than a month. But that's all we have to prepare.

The thing that worries me is that 5 of the other team's members are large socialedia figures, and that not only gives them a vote advantage, but also makes the entertainment more likely to debut them. Since they can get more fans from the start.

And if i don't debut now, my age won't fit the requirements anymore to debut...

All I want now is to debut as 8...

...as Stray Kids.
