Tanjiro woke up before sitting up and stretching his arms and yawning, he looked to the side to see that Inosuke and Zenitsu were still asleep.
He smiled before slipping on his slippers and leaving his room, the day was peaceful at the Butterfly Mansion.
Tanjiro inhaled the air before sighing, he realized that he woke up quite early and Aoi and the girls may be still asleep.
So he decided to check up on Nezuko.
Tanjiro reached Nezuko's room and knocked on the door, he smiled when he heard a hum from inside.
He cracked open the door to see Nezuko sitting on her bed awake as she turned to him.
"Nezuko,"He closed the door behind him."how was your-"
Tanjiro was cut off as Nezuko ran to him before hugging him.
Tanjiro looked surprised before chuckling."Okay Nezuko-"
He stopped himself and sniffed the air before holding the bridge of his nose."Ugh, Nezuko you stink!"
Nezuko just looked at him before tilting her head to the side.
Tanjiro placed his hand on his chin."Come to think of it, it's been a long time since you too a bath, mmmm."
Tanjiro snapped his fingers."I have an idea!"
Tanjiro walked towards Nezuko's box before opening it."Nezuko get in here for a second, I promise it won't be long."
Nezuko hummed before shrinking to a smaller size and crawling into the box.
Tanjiro closed it before hanging the box on his shoulders.
He walked around the mansion before he arrived at the bathroom.
He slid open the door behind closing it, he closed the paper windows before closing the curtains.
Tanjiro looked around before sighing, he set down the box before tapping it.
"You can come out now Nezuko."Tanjiro said.
The box opened and Nezuko came out before increasing in size.
"I hope I didn't keep you waiting."Tanjiro said and Nezuko shook her head.
"Okay, wait here while I run the bath."Tanjiro said before walking to a bucket.
Tanjiro filled the bucket with water before boiling water and pouring it inside.
Tanjiro tested the water by putting his hand in the water, he smiled when he realized the water temperature was okay, not too hot, not too cold.
Tanjiro turned to Nezuko who was idly staring at the ground.
"Okay Nezuko, time for your bath."Tanjiro announced.
Nezuko loosened her obijime and then her obi but Tanjiro stopped her.
"No, Nezuko you can't take off your clothes!"
Nezuko hummed questionably.
"Mmm, not while am here."Tanjiro said before continuing."You're bucket of water is there, you're bar of soap is there and you're towel is over there."
Nezuko nodded.
"Okay, I'm going to leave now Nezuko but be careful, the floors could get wet and slippery."Tanjiro said.
Nezuko nodded.
"All right, bye Nezuko, call me if you need anything!"Tanjiro said before leaving the room.
Tanjiro slid the door closed before standing in the hallway.
Tanjiro grew worried, what if Nezuko had fallen and broken her head, her demon blood can help heal it but it could hurt a lot.
Filled with worry, Tanjiro slid open the door only to see Nezuko sponging her body, the soap subs covering her body.
"Sorry!"Tanjiro yelled before running out of the room but not before sliding the doors shut behind him.
Nezuko hummed before raising a brow.
Tanjiro pounded his head, that was stupid, don't ever do that again Tanjiro!, he yelled in his mind.
Nezuko finished bathing before putting on her hemp leaf patterned kimono.
She knocked on the door and Tanjiro slid it open before coming in and sniffing the air.
"You smell good Nezuko!"Tanjiro announced with a smile.
Nezuko hummed happily before hugging Tanjiro.
Tanjiro hugging her back.
They separated.
"All right, let's get you back to your room, Aoi may be making breakfast now."Tanjiro said.
Nezuko nodded before crawling into her box.
Tanjiro carried it before leaving the bathroom but not without sliding the doors close behind him.
