26: Playing house

*Samantha's POV*

It has been extremely hard keeping the secrets from Grayson. Honestly I don't think he would care on my end because I didn't do anything. But Hayes.. Grayson might not be okay with Hayes.

Today we leave for LA! I am so excited. Once I woke up enough to get up I got in the shower and began to get ready. I straightened my hair then did my makeup. Only light makeup because we are gonna be on a plane. The plane ride is about 6 hours so I kept my phone charging all morning. I figured I would buy clothes in California so I left a little bit of room in my suit case.

*Beep beep*
I looked at my phone and had a text from Grayson.

Grayson😘💕: Good morning babe! Are you ready?

Me: yeah! I can't wait to get there.

Grayson😘💕: we'll be over in 10 minutes to get you.

I brought all my luggage down stairs and said Goodbye to my parents. I think they were sad I was leaving. They won't have Liam or me for most of the summer. Grayson finally pulled up and I hugged my parents one last time before getting in Grayson's car.

"Hey! Can you help me with my luggage?" I asked Grayson while getting into the back. He put the luggage in by my feet.
"Wow. Not as heavy as I thought it would be." He laughed. I just rolled my eyes at him.

I stuck my head in between the drivers an passengers seat and kissed Grayson's cheek. Then he turned and kissed me on the lips. "Ok guys. I am still in the car." Ethan said in an annoyed voice. "Sorry Ethan!" I laughed then kissed his cheek.

Once we were at the airport I went to the Starbucks in the airport and got a few magazines for the plane. I ordered a green tea frap with two pumps of raspberry. As I waited for my drink a tall blonde was starring a me then winked I smiled and turned around. He was creepy. I felt strong arms come and wrap around me. It was Grayson. "What are you doing?" I laughed. "That guy over there is checking you out, I wanted to show him that your mine." Grayson was extremely hot when he was protective. I pecked his lips. "You are extremely hot when you are protective." Grayson smirked. We continued to wait for my drink.

"Green tea with raspberry" the worker said. I grabbed my drink then we went back to the waiting area. We waited for about two hours until our flight was finally called. The flight was completely full. I forgot how much I hate flying. We found our seats. I sat in the middle of Grayson and Ethan. "I don't know about you guys but I'm gonna sleep." Ethan exclaimed. Then fell into a dead sleep. "Wanna watch a movie? I brought my laptop." I said. Grayson nodded and we went on Netflix to find something good to watch. We decided on 'expelled'. We weren't really watching it more like talking and sorta watching.

"I never really asked you, how was North Carolina? You ended up going to see Hayes right?" Grayson questioned. Uh oh. Should I tell him? No.

"It was super fun me and here's went tubbing on the lake, and watched a movie with his little sister." I tried to cover up my worried look.

"Sounds fun! He's gonna be there when we get to the airport, maybe we can all hangout."

"Yeah.. Maybe." Grayson gave me a weird look.

"What? Did you not like Hayes?" I feel so bad lying to Grayson. I hated when he lied to me. I just feel so bad.

"No, he seemed great!" I smiled and Grayson smiled.

"We are staying with Cameron when we get there. They have a big apartment." Grayson stated. I seriously hope Hayes tells Grayson what happened so I don't have too.

"Good, I hate hotels! Anyways I'm gonna go to sleep I'm tired." I got my blanket and laid it on top of Grayson and I, then put my head in his chest and fell asleep cuddling with Grayson.

*6 hours later*

I was woken up by Ethan shaking me. I saw we landed and lightly tapped Grayson. He wouldn't wake up so I slapped him on his cheek a few times. He woke up from that.

"Hey we landed." I said to Grayson.

"Why else would you be slapping me?" He said sarcastically. We departed the plane and went to baggage claim. After we found all of our bags Ethan, Grayson and I went to try and find who was picking us up, which we thought was Cameron. I guess we thought wrong. We were greeted by Hayes. Me and Hayes made eye contact. I quickly looked away.

Grayson and Ethan hugged Hayes. Hayes went for a hug but I shook his hand instead. We headed back to the hotel, I'm not prepared to meet Cameron.

We pulled up to the apartment.
"I'm not prepared to meet Cameron" I whisper/laughed in Grayson's ear. He laughed too. Hayes took out a key and we went inside the apartment. All of the lights were off so I was guessing Cameron and everyone were out?

"I guess you don't have to be worried about meeting him" Grayson whispered in my ear. We both laughed.

"I think Cameron and Nash left, I can show you your guy's rooms. We followed Hayes up stairs. Ethan had a room and me and Grayson shared Room.

Me and Grayson settled into our room. I unpacked and then took a shower. Once I got out I saw I had forgotten a towel. "Grayson? Can you bring me a towel?" He came in and handed me a towel. "Why don't you just air dry out here?" Grayson smirked and walked out. Once I was out of the shower and I was dry, I put my towel on and walked out to get my clothes from my suit case. Grayson wasn't in the room so I didn't go in the bathroom to change. I shut the lights off and got in bed. About 5 minutes later Grayson came in and got in bed. I was about to fall asleep but Grayson started talking. "This is so weird."

"What?" I asked confused.

"It's almost like we live together." He was right that's so weird. We both started laughing. I turned toward him and he turned towards me.

*Grayson's POV*
It's crazy how much I love Sam. I am only sixteen years old. Since we share a room all summer, it's like we are playing house.

I have been thinking about getting a promise ring for Sam. To take our relationship to the next step.

*Hayes POV*

I know it's bad, but I really like Sam. I ruined my chance of even being friends with her by kissing her.

*Ethan's POV*

I really miss Julia. I should have asked her to come with.

*Cameron's POV*

I can't wait to meet Grayson's girlfriend. Hayes told me she is really pretty.
