A few more days passed, and you began to notice that Signora was acting a little different than usual.

She had been acting a little more..shy around you. You wondered if you had done something wrong or upset her somehow, though when you asked her about it, she simply said it was "none of your concern", so you decided not to bother her about it more.

Aside from Signora's unusual behavior, you felt that something was different between the two of you.

(Fun flashback time)

.

The two of you were out walking together, talking about various topics. Well, you did most of the talking while Signora listened. While you went on telling her various stories, you noticed the soft way she smiled at you. She looked so...'pretty' you though, a noticeable blush rising to your face. "Y/n? Are you alright? You're quite red" You heard Signora say. "Oh, uhm don't worry about it! I'm totally fi-" Before you finished speaking, you felt a cold hand pressed against your forehead. Her hand. "Hm, thankfully you don't seem to have a fever" She said, while your face only got redder. When her hand pulled away from your forehead was when you finally calmed down. Well, mostly.

.

The two of you were sitting on the bed in your room, you showing her the new book you had aquired. After quite a while, you finished, setting down the book beside you. Now neither of you were talking, and there was a kind of awkward silence as you looked at each other. Then a thought occured to you. "Signora..would it be okay if I did your hair?" You shyly asked. Signora hesitated for a moment before nodding and mumbling a quick "yes". You smiled and motioned for her to turn around. She sat closer, her back now facing you. You undid her usual rose buns, and ran your fingers through her soft hair. You separated it into three sections, planning to do a simple braid. As you started braiding her hair, you softly spoke "You have such pretty hair..." Signora only hummed in response. After that, Signora spaced out, only paying attention to the various thoughts racing through her mind. After what had seemed like hours, you finally finished her hair. "Signora, I'm done" you said. She didn't respond, so you called her name again. She still didn't respond. This time, you gave her a light tap on the shoulder "Signora, you alright?". She finally snapped out of her thoughts at your touch "Ah, apologies.." "Oh, let me grab a mirror so you can see" You quickly said, turning and digging through a nearby drawer, pulling out a small handheld mirror. You sat back down a little closer behind her than before, reaching an arm over her shoulder to show her. "Do you like it?" You asked, a little nervious. She took a few moments observing you work. 'Hmm..Y/n is quite skilled at this' Signora thought. She softly smiled, then spoke "It looks quite nice..thank you, Y/n". Upon hearing  her words, you smiled too, relieved she liked it.

.

The both of you were out walking together again. Now, this had become a regular thing between the two of you. As you both walked, you noticed quite a lot of roses growing nearby. You walked over to where they were, confusing Signora on where you were going. You gently picked one of the delicate flowers and went back over to where Signora stood. You reached out your arm, tucking the rose behind her ear. "It matches you" You smiled. A light tint of pink made its way to Signora's face. She could only reply a small 'hm' to your gesture. After that, you continued the conversation from before like nothing had ever happeded...

.

One night, strangely enough, Signora had invited you to her home. When you got there, she even greeted you with a smile. When the two of you were together, hours went by like seconds. Eventually, you became tired, resulting in you falling asleep, leading to the current situation...
