Withering Love - La Signora

You had always had questions about Signora, and as time went on, you only had more. You had become increasingly  curious,

'What is she always so busy with? Where is she all day? How did she get herself injured that day? How did Childe and Signora already know each other? And why had that fatui agent seemed so afraid of her?'

The more you thought about it, the more you started to piece together the puzzle of a mystery you were presented with. You started to have suspicions, and quite the amount of theories. Though you had a slight idea of what was likely happening, you still didn't want to assume anything without proper evidence. So, today, you decided to find out the truth for yourself...

It was early morning, the sun just barely up. You had woken up intentionally early today for your little...investigation. You got up and prepared, throwing on your usual outfit and bag. You slowly stepped down the stairs as to not make any noise, careful not to alert Childe this time. You managed to slip out of the house unnoticed, and began the walk to your first destination.

After a short walk, you arrived at the first stop: Signora's home. You hid yourself in a nearby bush to avoid being seen. Now, all you had to do was wait.

Was is a bit strange to secretly follow her around? Absolutely, but you really had no other means of getting information...hence why you resorted to the current plan.

    You continued waiting patiently for another few minutes, until you saw the front door open, Signora stepping out. You sat as still as possible, careful not to catch her attention. Thankfully, she walked right past your hiding spot without noticing. You breathed a sigh of relief, though quickly refocusing to not lose sight of Signora. As she walked, you followed along behind.

After a while of following Signora around, you ended up in the forest. This also happened to be the same place she had found you exploring in a while back. 'What could she be doing here...?' You wondered, still watching her from a distance.

She continued moving, though you froze when you saw where she was going.

'Is that the same fatui camp she mentioned last time? Why would she...' You pondered, starting to think your theories might just be correct.

She stopped at the entrance of the camp, and you hid yourself behind a tree farther back. She stood in place for a moment, scanning the area for something. After a minute, Signora snapped her fingers, and two fatui agents appeared in the blink of an eye. Your eyes widened as she started conversing with them. You continued staying hidden until they were done and the agents left.

Signora had now started walking back the way you both came from, which meant you had to swiftly move to another spot. You began moving, stepping as silently  as possible, though right when you had almost reached a safe distance...

*Crunch*

A branch.

Of course, you had just stepped on the loudest branch in the entirety of Teyvat.
