Chapter 14

As the passion grew in the kiss, the more touchy they both became with each other. Elizabeth wrapped her arms around his neck, Sebastian wrap his hands around her waist. It got deeper and deeper until Sebastian pulled away giving them both the time to breathe.

"My Lady, perhaps we should do this once the time is right. We haven't decided to be together permanently yet, and if you wish to you'll have to become a demon. That's why we are mated for life." Sebastian explained to Elizabeth who was trying to catch her breath and thinking. She didn't know would it be worth it becoming a demon?

Elizabeth knew Sebastian since she was 14 years old, now she's a full grown women. 20 years old to be exact. She misses her fiancés passing, she needed to move on. She sighed at him but smiled at him. "Let's go in, it's getting late." She said, Sebastian bowed and they both headed inside.

Elizabeth got her night gown on, her hair down and laid down in bed. She started into the dark of her ceiling, looking at the window the moon light trying to shine threw the curtains. She sighed, "God why is tonight the night I can't sleep." She whispered to herself. She grab a match and lit the candle next to her candle she always kept by her bed.

She grab a book she kept from the library, she decided to read, about mythical beings and creatures. That's better than not knowing what could be out there. She believes in many different things. If there's demons, grim reapers and angels than who knows what else could be out there? Could be anything.

Her hands flip the pages as her eyes scanned it reading much about anything. Believing their more bigger creatures in the ocean than anyone knows, as some in the forest, and of course paranormal. Ghost is always interesting because no one believes it until it happens.

Her mother always would scold her for reading any type of this nonsense when she was much younger. Now that she's older, and sadly her family has passed she could read whatever she wanted. A couple tears escape her eyes as she read with her family now just being a memory.

She wiped them away and closed the book. Blew out the candle covering herself up but the tears couldn't stop coming. She couldn't help it, her mom, dad, and brother wasn't here for her. She couldn't help but miss them, how could she not? She remembers everything when she was younger.

She remembers dreaming about talking to her mom about wedding ideas, her dad walking her down the isle, her brother of course being protective but happy. She couldn't have that day come now, she would have to plan everything by herself, and no one there to walk her down. This caused a great pain in her heart. She slowly cried herself to sleep only going to sleep depressed.

The morning came but she wasn't happy there was sunshine. She got woken up as normal, Sebastian handed her morning tea, with the newspaper. She read as she sipped her tea, she smiled seeing a small little section saying there's a festival in town.

"Sebastian after breakfast, there's a festival in town that's where we are going." She said, Sebastian bowed to her smiling. "I shall picked the outfit for you My Lady." He said as he left the room. She ate the toast, and muffin she had for breakfast. She kept scanning the paper, then the big word 'murder' on the back had her attention.

She read the article seeing about what murder was taking place. Seemed the murder happens to only young women, 20-28 years of age. There eyes are cut out of their head as their tongue are as well. Elizabeth felt sick to her stomach, who would do such a thing? One thing was for certain, Sebastian and her have to be on high alert since this was happening.
