A month🌿

The gentle breeze ruffled Yvonne's hair and parts of her garments as she starred at the horizon, a habit she had developed during her one month stay at Paradis.

Standing at the top of the walls, the humungous and sturdy walls of Wall Rose, her thoughts rolled back to the time she was separated from her fairytail team.

It just happened in the blink of an eye.

While travelling the vast seas onto thier first destination, a magic power unknown to them suddenly sent them into a whirlwind of separation. None of her team were able to use their powers and the next thing they knew they all succumbed to unconciousness.

With stories told, one of the female commandant in Paradis in the name of Hange Zoe told her they found her unconcious in the woods during one of their past expedition she was confused about.

She was nursed to health before she was subjected to questioning under the command of the highest authority of the Survey Corps, a group of elites trained to protect humanity.

At least thats what she has been told.

In the span of days she learned all the neccessary informations she needed to know, much needed for her survival. Unfortunately, it was only her who had reached the Island of Paradis, the location of her friends unknown.

Paradis. Swarmed by gigantic naked humanoid human eating creatures that rooted fear in the heart of the Island.

The giants they call titans.

The very reason why the walls were built caging the people inside for their safety.

Source of these creatures: unknown.

Beginning of their existence: unknown.

Classified into 3 categories based on their strength and speed.

Normal, Abnormal, and Abberants.

According to the data, statistics and informations Fairytail has collected, the Island of Paradis is isolated since the very beginning.

No connection from the outside world, it's just them, the titans and their ruler.

Yes, Paradis is a kingdom. Ruled by a young new queen, a former member of the Survey Corps. Queen Historia Reiss.

Now, as far as she knows, she is under the wing of the survey corps, new Levi squad to be precise.

Levi Ackerman: captain of the survey corps, known as the fastest in both wit and battle, has the most titan kills, cold and intimidating but silently cares. Loves tea and a clean freak, quite short for his height and yet his good looks made up for it. Last but not the least, called her a burden just because she couldn't talk at the moment and couldn't answer their question on how she had gotten there.

Eren Jaeger: called the humanity's last hope due to him being a titan and possesses the powers of the founding titan. As far as she is concerned, founding titan is the 'know it all' one.

Mikasa Ackerman: not sure if she is related to Levi at all. Possesses great strength, speed and agility. One of the most reliable member of the Levi Squad and is the closest to Eren given that she was adopted by his family.

Jean Kristein: a strongheaded lad who is always a tease yet has the potential to become a leader.

Sasha Brauss: huntress from a small village who has an animal instinct. Her hearing is twice sharper than the others thus giving her an advantage in battle.

Connie Springger: closest to Sasha and Jean. Another native from a small village that's been attacked by titans. And that until that day that remains a mystery. How everyone in his village became titans.

Armin Arlert: the one who completes the the trio of Eren and Mikasa. He maybe the least skilled in battle but his brains says otherwise. Trusted as a battle tactician that even Erwin the survey corps superior trusts his judgement.

A wave of sadness washed over Yvonne remembering her team. Worry and anger clawed at her as well but she didn't let it dominate her.

No.

They're fairytail. And there is no such thing as quitting among them. Thus she believed they are on their way to her, wherever they maybe.

"Beautiful morning isn't it?" A female voice spoke behind her. Looking back, she saw Hange approaching with 2 cups of tea on both her hands.

Hange Zoe: second commandant of the survey corps and have a squad of her own. She maybe weird sometimes but what comes out of those experiments of hers is sure productive. Was the one who told her of everything she must know and became her first friend.

A small smile tugged on her lips as she nods.

"Tea?"

Yvonne reached for it before nodding in gratitude. Hange sips her tea before breathing out.

"Ahhh, the taste of tea in the morning. You know, this is one of my favorites. Just to drink tea and not worry about anything else," she say and Yvonne looks at her smiling. She understand that feeling. Her brother Zeref wouldn't go on his day without having their usual morning royal tea as what their subject tells them.

Silence conquered them for a while before Hange broke it.

"All my life, I have been inside of these walls. Though we go on expeditions, our lives are always at risk that we have to always be on guard. I wonder how it feels like to explore the world without having to worry about your life."

Yvonne glances at her friend, a heavy weight now clouding on her chest. That is the very first thing that crossed her mind the moment she stepped foot at Paradis. These people are not free. They always have to live their lives in constant fear. And that is the very reason as to why their decade quest has been made.

To free Paradis of it's agony and get rid of every titan out there.

A promise she silently conveys to them.

Paradis will get her freedom.

"Armin always has these dream to one day see and feel the sea to his hearts content. He was judged by other people just because of it but the little dreamer holds on to it. Ha,ha, If only it were that easy. But I'm not one to condemn him. Not when I myself wants to see it," Hange continues.

A smile made it's way to Yvonne's lips.

'And you will one day. You have the words and promise of Fairytail.'

Her hand raised giving Hange a tap on the back almost surprising the female commandant.

She can't blame her. It's the first time she had ever reached out to them since her arrival. Hange looks at her studying her features and yet she had already turned her attention back to the vast horizon.

"Thank you. I wish I know your name."

That made the princess look back at her.

Her name.

Her intention.

Well it is time they know...
