Emersyn hears a honk from outside, looking outside she sees Mabel's car. A smile appears on her face as she heads toward the door.
When she gets into the car her best friend squeals in excitement and hugs her over the center console.
"Em! it's been too long!" Mabel says after letting go of the girl. "you saw me like 3 days ago, mabel." Emersyn or Em reply's with a giggle.
"And? am i not allowed to miss my bestfriend?" she says while pulling out of the redheads driveway. "So, how'd your chemistry read go?"
"Pretty good i think, the guy i had to do the read with texted me, and said i did great." Emersyn replies connecting her phone to aux.
"This was for better than the movies right? the book was so good," the brunette asks. "yeah it was, and i know i really hope i get the role."
"I'm sure you will you're so talented, plus after the summer i turned pretty you're the new young adult book romance girl." Mabel comforts "Thank you? That second part made like no sense i'm not gonna lie." she laughs
"Oh who was the guy who texted you? like what does he look like, oh and what did he say to you?" Mabel rambles "his names Jack Champion, let me pull up his instagram." she replies as Mabel pulls the car into a dunkin drive-thru.
"Alright, do you want your regular?" she says slightly mumbling as she's focused on grabbing her wallet. "yes ma'am." she nods ordering my strawberry dragonfruit refresher and a bagel along with her matcha and sandwich.
After getting the food Mabel parks the two in the parking lot. "alright now let me see the boy." she turns so hee back is pressed against the car door.
"here," Emersyn hands the brunette her phone with the boys instagram pulled up.
"wait, he's gonna be in the new avatar movie?" she looks up from the phone to her friend.
"uh i don't know, i haven't even seen the first one." the girl shrugs biting into her bagel. "you're always so late to these things." the brown haired girl laughs shaking her head.
"Well, i think he's a good fit for Wes, is he nice?" she asks Emersyn. "Yeah, i mean in the 3 minutes i was with him he was sweet." she answers while grabbing the phone back from her friend.
