That ringing is back. Why is it back? Something isn't right... I thought I was dead. If that was the case how am I having coherent thoughts? I open my eyes and see everything is blurry. I can't see my hand, I'm waving it in front of my face and it's blurry. Even when I move it away. I sit up and I feel the cold stone underneath me. I touch my face and I feel a poke. I quickly move my hand away and I feel my fingers and my nails. They've been sharpened to be like claws. "What's happening..." I let out a whimper, did the others have the same fate as I do? I look around trying to see something, anything. I hear footsteps echo in the room. "You're awake I see." I look to my side. A big figure, but I couldn't see any detail. However that voice was familiar. "Ira..." I assumed. "Call me daddy.... actually that's weird, call me father." I think he was being serious but also joking at the same time. "What did you do to me?" I raise my voice. I shakily stand up trying to get my footing.
I could feel a hand stabilize me. "You're back where you belong..." He says "as you should have been all this time." he lets go when I get my balance. I still have a hard time believing it. "What makes you think I'm not going to escape?" I asked. "I don't. But remember this, who knows if people will recognize Father Damon that left the camp and never returned? What you can believe is you're very. Much. Different." he scoffs. How much did I change, how different am I... I don't know what to do at this point. What are my options? I can't see, if what Ira'nox said is true, I don't know if I'll be allowed back, is my only option really staying here? "You'll learn to love it here with us. My followers are very loyal, they'll love you as much as they love me." I found it disturbing that his voice became comforting to me. He put his hand on top of my head and gave it a few pats like I'm some dog being loved by his owner... this feels nice, maybe I'll stay for a little bit... until I can figure out how to deal with my lack of vision. Then I'll escape and figure it out from then on.
