"W-why did you help me?" Misty stammered, still quite upset from the fight with Bubbles.

"How could I not help my amoureux? I would also think if you had knocked someone down, you would help them, too? Wouldn't you?"

"Well, I just-um-I-well, uh..." She couldn't think straight when he stared at her like that but she kept thinking she should run away from him, which was odd.

Just then, Bubbles came strolling up the walkway that Misty had just come. No doubt to try and apologize. Well, that, or since she had a cute boy next to her, she would probably change her whole character. She often told Misty that guys would never like her actual character, so she made a change of how she did everything and how she acted whenever someone really hot or cute was around. Sometimes it surprised her at how different she could be from her real character. Right now was no different. As soon as she saw who Misty was with, she changed her walk and plastered a huge smile on her face.

Misty groaned, knowing what was coming.

"Oh, no, Misty. What's wrong?"

"Don't pull that crap with me Bubbles. You know what's wrong."

"Well, not necessarily," she whined.
"How about you introduce me to your friend over here." And just like that she turned on her seductive voice.

Misty groaned again, feeling even more embarrassed that he had to see her friend like this. She almost introduced him, but then thought better of it.

"You know what? No. I'm not going to introduce him to you. I'm done dealing with your crap today, especially when I've done nothing wrong."

Her expression went from shock to disbelief and finally reverted to anger. Misty didn't know what was wrong with her friend, but she certainly needed to find out soon. Either that, or just cut her out of her life, and she knew that was not an option.

"You can't just cut me out of your life, Misty," she sneered.

"I'm not cutting you out of my life, but right now I am walking away from you."

She proceeded to do just that but before she could get very far she felt a hand clamp down painfully on her wrist.

"Ow! Bubbles, let go."

"NO! I won't let you leave."

Suddendly the pain in her wrist stoped and she saw her friend sitting on the ground looking shocked. At that moment she thought she heard a growl but then the boy next to her was coughing so she didn't know if it had been real or not.

"Goodbye Bubbles. I am taking her with me and don't try to stop me," the boy said with an unnaturally calm voice.

"Just because I don't want to stay here doesn't mean I'm going with you anytime-" She stopped, as she realized that Bubbles was her ride home.

"Aw, crap," she muttered.

She looked over to see the boy looking quite smug with a huge smirk on his face.

"Don't flatter yourself, I can walk."

She started walking away towards the way she thought was where she lived. She didn't exactly know where to go but she certainly didn't want to go with the guy. And come to think of it she didn't even know his name. Who in their right mind would just go with a random stranger that seemed nice? Isn't that how little girls and boys are taken in those kidnapping vans? There was also the constant feeling in her gut that she should stay away from this guy, whoever he was. Sure, he seemed nice now, but what would happen when they were alone? She was so confused. She couldn't make up her mind about the guy and what she thought-- she was interupted from her thoughts when she heard soneone walking beside her say, "Hey, where are you going? I could've given you a ride."

"Yeah, but I hardly know you, heck, I don't even know your name!" Although she thought she would never see him again, she still wanted to know his name.

"Well, you could've just asked," he reaponded smugly.

She continued to stay silent and, after a while, he realized that she didn't want to ask. He saw her cheeks turn bright red before he said, "Don't be embarrassed, I should've told you my name right away. That was my fault."

When she looked over, she saw him-- or thought she saw him--kind of shimmering. It was like he was a hologram that was about to go away but he still looked real. As she went to look at his face, she saw his teeth change to points. Right before she passed out, she heard someone say, "Stay away from her. She doesn't belong to you, she is mine!" She tried to stop herself from going into the darkness but the pull was too much and before long, she was pulled under.

Hey, guys. Sorry this chapter is so short, along with the previous one as well. I've been erasing and editing so stuff I don't like and it's making the chapters shorter.

Please tell me if you like this book so far though. I don't if I should continue this story or not. I only have 6 chapters but I'm not sure where the story is going.

Give me some ideas if you can as to where the story should go. Read all the chapters first though :D
