As she went to the "bathroom", she kept thinking about his words. Although he had said she shouldn't run away, she still felt like doing it. And what was completely ironic? She still didn't know his name. Maybe she should have asked him... Oh, well. Too late for that now.

Just then she came to two hallways. One leading to the left, another going straight. Misty contemplated which way to go before choosing to turn left just because she thought that the people who brought her here probably turned a lot to get her to that bedroom that she was just in. Probably not the smartest thing to go off of, but whatever. On the walls of this hallway were pictures of abstract sort of animals. Well, at least, that's what they looked like to her. Somehow, she could tell people walked this way often. Just by looking at the pictures and by another sense she couldn't quite place.

Soon after, she found a door leading outside. Looking around, she noticed she was surrounded by a forest, in what looked to be the mountains. Trees this tall wouldn't be in the city. There just wasn't enough room for that.

As she inhaled the fresh smell of the forest, she couldn't help but feel like she belonged here. She had a gut feeling that this was where her home was suppose to be. Not back in the city with everyone else. Realising where she was, and that she should probably get going before someone noticed her absence, she started running. The trees flashed past her and she couldn't help but feel giddy at how much fun this seemed. Not long ago she was trapped in a huge house with two equally scary guys, and now she was running free without anyone telling her what to do.

It wasn't until Misty had been running for over an hour that she suddenly felt as if she was being chased. Quickly dismissing it as just an animal, she sped up. Not even realising how fast she was actually going.

'You should have never have let her leave. You knew she was going to run. Why did you let her go by herself?'

'Shut up Koa'

'We will catch her'

'I have no doubt you will. Now stop wasting time and go find her'

'Yes Alpha'

He loved his warriors like family but sometimes it was like they had no brains. Rubbing his temples, he got up from his bed and started pacing back and forth.

Why did she leave? I told her not to leave.

He groaned. Maybe she wasn't going to be as willing he thought.

When she first got here, he was pained to see her unconscious. Gladly, he'd seen his brother, Sykear, and her talking and had taken her back to his house before his brother could take her to his.

What Erikur didn't understand was why she was scared of him. She had no reason to fear him. Other than the fact that he had an evil twin, he wasn't technically scary. Sure he was tall and muscular, but still.

He was going to have to figure out what happened to make her this way.

Stopping to rest beside a stream, she noticed how beautiful this place actual was. Smiling up at the trees she thought she spotted someone up there. She frowned at that. Yeah right. There's no way someone could possibly get up there.

As she shook off her uneasiness, she decided to rest under a nearby tree for a little while, thinking it couldn't hurt now that she was far enough away from the house. As she was dozing off, she heard a twig snap somewhere near her but before Misty could investigate, she was already asleep.

"How could he be so ignorant?" He thought.

Not even fifteen minutes after Sykear left the house he heard the girl running through the forest.

Rubbing his temples he went to check on the girl. Having successfully captured her, which was quite easy, might he add, he had put her in his room, knowing the scent, his scent, would confuse her, even if she didn't know why. He chuckled at that.

Because Sykear was now on the dark side of things, his scent had changed. To a normal human, you wouldn't be able to tell, but to a girl like her, you could. He had used to smell like fresh forest after a rain but now he smelled like heat from a tiger's breath.

When he'd first saw her at the beach, he'd known what she was. It was quite obvious that she did not know what she was--and that she didn't have a mate. That, for him, was a good thing. Now, he could have another mate.

Maybe one that would cooperate this time so she wouldn't get herself killed.

When he got to his room he listened right outside the door to see if she was up and right as he heard a noise, the door swung open and he saw her face turn to panic before she passed out. Probably from fear.

She's so weak, he thought, rolling his eyes.

He caught her before she could hit the ground, pulling her against his chest, while breathing in her sweet scent.

Nothing was better than taking your brother's mate for revenge, than actually getting to keep her for yourself.
