Everyone other than kauravas were laughing hearing the insult thrown at the king of anga , they feared him for his strength and so they didn't want to miss the opportunity to make him feel inferior to them . Karna felt humiliated , he didn't know how to react because he didn't have any desire to marry the princess of panchala , the reason for which he was being insulted.
