Where jail is a way to release the pain
Where we lock people away for being "mentally insane"
And sex is not a matter of love but lust.
We turned the land of better life into the land of murder.
Where even life isn't safe
And we revenge death with death
Like it will bring back the loss of the loved.
We turned the land of honesty into the land of hypocrisy.
How are we against murder but for abortion?
Why do we eat animals but are against animal abuse?
How are we called free but have so many restrictions?
How did we turn America into a place of lies.
We let freedom die in the hands of this generation
We let freedom die in the hearts of the impure.
We were supposed to "let freedom ring" but we stood still.
We were supposed to "lift every voice" but everyone refused to speak.
