It was a late night in November and Elenor Banks would be found getting ready for bed.

I brushed through my brown wet hair while I looked in the mirror. My parents weren't home since they were on a business trip, so that meant I had the house to myself.

I turned off my light and turned on my lamp, I sat down at my vanity and moisturized my face. I heard a knock on my window and I jumped out of my skin. I turned around and saw Billy outside of my window.

I unlocked the window and opened it, he climbed into my room and sat down on the bed. I looked outside and closed the window again.

"Billy what the hell! My parents aren't home, you could've just knocked at the door like a normal human being." I said to him not impressed.

"We'll what's the fun in that." he said with a pouty face, "Whatever. How'd you even get up here? My bedrooms and the second floor." I asked in confusion. "It was easy. I just had to climb on top of you shed than I could jump onto it the roof. You guys really should look into moving that shed. You don't know what kind of psychos might crawl into your room at night." Billy replied in a joking manner.

"You're so fucking funny." I said sarcastically while sitting down on the bed beside him, "You love me, admit it." Billy laughed.

"Okay." I said, I sat on top of his waist, my legs on his side. I pushed his body down further onto my bed and moved my mouth closer to his. "I... love... you." I said to him slowly.

He gave me a smirk, I leant closer to his lips and we began to make out. Sometime during our make out session we had removed our shirts and my pants.

He still had his jeans on while I was just left in my bra and underwear. The rest of the night was filled with many sounds.

In the morning when I woke up, I rolled over to face Billy but noticed he wasn't there. I sat up, pulling the sheets over my naked body and looked around. Billy's clothes were no longer there so I assumed that he had left to go home.

I got out of bed and put on my pyjamas from last night, I noticed on my desk there was a note.

"Had to go home, i'll see you at school El."
- xo Billy

I smiled at the note and put it in my dresser underneath some of my clothes. I got ready for school after that, once I was done I made my way to my car and got in.

I drove off to school, once I got there I saw a bunch of news reporters outside. I found a certain brunette in the crowd of people and rolled my eyes.

I grabbed my bag from my passenger seat and put on a smile before walking out the car.

"Sid!" I yelled approaching the brunette, "Hey El." she replied with less enthusiasm as me. "What's up?" I asked her, "Do you know what happened last night? Apparently two kids from here died." she said and I shrugged.

Tatum approached us with a smile, "Do you believe this shit?" she asked. Sidney jumped in fear not realizing that she had just gotten here.

"Tatum, what is going on?" she asked in confusion, Tatum looked at me to see if I knew and I didn't say anything. "You guys don't know. Casey Becker and Steve Orth were killed last night." Tatum explained.

"What! No way." Sidney said i'm disbelief, "Yep, but i'm not talking just killed. We're talking splatter movie killed. Cut open end to end." Tatum added. "Gross" I deadpanned, the two girls looked at me confused by my lack of sympathy and I ignored their gaze.

"Casey sits next to me in english." Sidney stated, "Not anymore." I said and Sidney looked at me again with a weird look.

"It's so sad. Her mom and dad found her hanging from a tree. Her insides on the outside." Tatum explained, jesus Billy did a number on her.

"Oh my god. Do they know who did it?" Sidney asked, "Fucking clueless." Tatum deadpanned. "I mean they're interrogating the entire school. Students, tecahers, janitors." Tatum added.

"They think it's school related?" Sidney asked, "They don't know. I mean Dewey said it's the worst crime they've seen in years. I mean even worse than... well... it's bad" Tatum replied walking away after.

I wanted to laugh at Sidney's reaction but held it in instead, I couldn't have her think I was some deranged sociopath now could I?

The bell rang and I looked at Sidney, "Hey i've got to get to math. If i'm late one more time Mister Holloway is gonna have my head on a stick. Bye Sid." I said to her as I walked away, "Bye El." I heard her say as I walked away.

I walked into my class just before the bell had rung again, the teacher glared at me as I made my way to the back of the class.

I wasn't sure why he hated me so much, I was a good student. I mean other than the fact that I was late almost everyday, I would say that I wasn't a horrible person to have in your class.

The lesson began and I didn't pay much attention, Billy came into class late and the teacher spoke. "Late Mister Loomis." he said in a condescending tone. "I was being interrogated." he deadpanned.

The teacher nodded and Billy walked to the back of the class, he sat next to me and I didn't look over at him once.

He kicked his foot against mine to catch my attention and it worked, "Have you got called in the office yet?" he asked me. "No, not yet." I replied.

"How did it go for you?" I asked him, "It was fine, they just asked the usual questions." he replied and I nodded.

The rest of my day went by slow until it was time for my third period. I got called into the office for my turn so I got up and made my way there. I stepped inside and saw Dewey, the principal and Sheriff Burke.

"Elenor, thank you." he said to me as I walked in, he sat me down in a chair and I looked over at Dewey and Burke. "Hi Sheriff Burke. Hey De- officer Riley." I said and Dewey smiled.

"How are you?" the principal asked, "Good yourself?" I asked. "I'm okay." he replied. "How have your parents been?" he asked, "Their fine, busy with work per usual." I deadpanned.

"We'll let's get this started. Do you mind if we ask you a few questions?" Burke asked me and I nodded. "I don't mind." I replied.

"Where were you last night, around approximately 10:45?" Burke asked me, "I was getting ready for bed." I replied. "Were your parents home?" Dewey asked me. "No. They left a couple days ago for a work conference, in New York I think?" I replied.

"Okay, we're you close at all with Casey Becker?" Burke asked, "No not really. I mean, we hung out every now and then but we were never super close." I replied and he nodded writing down my answer.

"Okay thank you, that's all we need to know." Burke said excusing me, I got off the chair and pushed it closer to the desk.

"Okay then, bye everyone." I said to them, I walked out of the office and Dewey excused himself from the room.

"El! Wait a second." Dewey said, I turned around and faced him. "I think with everything going on, maybe you should spend the next few nights at our house with Tatum. You could go home and everything, it would just be spending the night at the house." Dewey offered.

"Yeah okay. I'll talk to Tatum about it. Thanks Dewey." I said, he smiled in return and I walked away.
