Last night I had finally fallen asleep but only got about an hour before I woke up again. When I had woken up Tatum and Sidney weren't in the blinded room anymore.
I sat up on the mattress and ran my fingers through my hair, I got off the bed while yawning and made my way over to Tatums mirror.
My hair was a mess, I looked pale than usual and I had dark circles underneath my eyes. Great.
I put on my outfit for the day and brushed through my hair, I didn't have enough energy to do anything else to my appearance so I left Tatums room.
I walked downstairs and saw them turning the tv off, the first thing I heard that had caught my attention was Dewey speaking. "Billy was released." he said.
I hid my smile the best I could and walked into the kitchen, sitting down beside Sid at the table. "His cellular bill was clean. He didn't make those calls." Dewey stated.
"We're checking ever cellular account in the county. Any calls made to you or Casey Becker are being cross-referenced. It's gonna take some time but we'll find him." Dewey added.
"Ok?" Tatum said to Sidney and she nodded, "Good morning to you sleepyhead." Tatum said to me. The two girls and Dewey looked over at me, not realizing that I had took a seat being to invested in their conversation.
They noticed my tired appearance but didn't say anything about it. They were concerned that maybe I wasn't dealing with the whole thing well.
I guess that's as kind of true, but not in the way that they thought.
"You guys ready to go?" Tatum asked me and Sid, "Yeah" Sidney said getting up. "I'm gonna take my car, I forgot some of my books at home." I said.
"We can stop at your house on the way El." Tatum suggested, "It's fine, you guys can just go. It's the complete other way form school so there's no point. I'll see you guys there." I said and they nodded.
I grabbed my school bag form the girls room and made my way out of her house. Once I was in my car I drive off to my house, when I got there I made my way inside and grabbed what I needed.
Before I left I looked over at the phone on my nightstand, I checked the time and realized that if Billy was home we wouldn't be leaving for school for another 10 minutes.
I dialled Billy's number and pressed the phone against my ear. On the second ring someone picked up the phone, it was his father. "Hello?" he spoke.
"Hi Mister Loomis. It's Elenor, I was just wondering if I could speak to Billy. I have a couple things i'd like to ask him regarding a presentation we're doing in our first period." I said. "Elenor Banks?" his father asked, I rolled my eyes before speaking.
"Yes sir, that would be me." I said and the man laughed, "I haven't seen you since you were a little girl. Tell your parents I said hi, i'll go get Billy." his dad said.
