energy on keeping his ship afloat;
thus, he sees you as a beneficial strength or
a detrimental weight.don't take it to heart; he already met
several voyagers at sea.
he learned adequate wisdom from them to
be afraid of your kin, you see.
'cause pirates don't always come with
identifiable faces waving their red flags;
some appear with a friendly smile and
trustworthy facades, only for you to
discover secrets they've swept under the
rug.rather than confronting them and asking
for their true intentions of boarding his
ship, he pushes them away—even if it
leaves him with an empty chest.
that way, it'd hurt less.
