Chapter 39:Predictable

Senior year is coming to an end

And so is this book sadly :(

It was almost time to see Kai . I am 8 months and 2 week. Where has the time gone. But today was the day we would decided whether or not I will deliver naturally. 

"Melody! Come down stairs , maus party is soon."  Aiden shouted as I was getting ready.  I was finished my make-up and groaned.

"Aiden I am almost done". Standing up I fixed up. I hear his big feet climb up the stairs . Grabbing my purse, I started to walk to the bathroom.

"Melody come on Belle is going to be upset ". Aiden leans by the door way and mumbles to himself .

"Okay okay. Let's go!" .Fixing my hair once more .

"You look stunning" Aiden arms wrapped around me .

"Aiden, come on". He holds my cheek as he kisses me all over . Embracing him , I held his waist to mine.  His lips trailing up my neck , as I ran my hand down his back.

"Melody we have to go".His whispers cause me to shutter as he pulls away . He holds my hand as we walk downstairs.  I wave bye to nicklaus as we walked away . We drove to Steven house , holding hands.

"Babe , please be nice to Steven ".

"No" He smirks.

"Aiden!" I looked around to see him smiling.

"Melody!"

" Aiden Schulze!  You will behave!" Aiden groaned as we turned into steven house.

"Yes baby ,I'll behave". He parked his car and helped me out. Smiling at his cute actions.  We walked to steven little home and noticed the party. It was empty with a couple of families here and there. I pushed Aiden to group of large men drinking beer as I looked for Belle.

"Belle?" I looked around as all the kids ran and saw Belle run out of the house , princess dress and all.

"AUNTY MEL!" She ran up to me and hugged my legs. Steven waved me over and I walked , with a clinging Belle on my leg.

"Melody this is my mother , Eva ". Steven held my arm as his mother stared at me with a smile.

"Aw you sweet woman , Belle has told me so much about you. Belle leave her and let her sit". I saw Belle pout but quickly ran away. Steven winked at me and walked up to Aiden handing him a beer.

"So I guess the big blond man is yours?" Eva smirked as Aiden started to talk with steven and his group.

"Yes ma'am that is all mine." I giggled as she checked him out.

" He is very handsome ,lucky kid ".

"Yes he will be very lucky." My voice was breaking as I thought of kai.

"You nervous huh? It's alright.everyone would be".Her hand rubbed down her legs as I looked down.

"I'm just nervous about how I will be as a mother. I'm afraid that he will not  like me ".

"Melody you and I both know that a child would not love his mother because of two things; first thing is if she left him, second thing is if she hurts him and you aren't going to do any of those things right ?" Her eyes became curious as she looked at me, waiting for my answers

"No ma'am" I was confused at my dialect but this woman made me act proper. Her glare remind me of Aiden , always cold but something loving.

" I can never do that to a kid especially my child " I finished my thought leaving her to ponder.

"Then what do you have to worry about. It seems like you're doing just fine." She winked at me and looked back at Aiden . He seemed to be having a good time with Steven.

"You know melody you are living the american dream."She smirked as I looked at Belle having a good time .

"How exactly"

"Rich handsome man . Your son will have blond hair , blue eyes with german background. ALL AMERICAN"She giggles as she grabs her wine and drinks more.

"What wrong with that"

"It is Predictable". She takes a sip and winks at me.

"Predictable?"

"It is like a cheesy love book , bring drama"

"I have enough drama . thank you very much". I wink back at her and look at her sly smile.

"Fair enough , I mean most of the world know about your drama.right?"

I look at her with a slight glare but keep it hidden as best as i can.

"Right ma'am".

It was a little bit of awkward silence as she sipped her wine.

"Where are you from Melody?" She looked back at me and smiled sweetly .

"I'm from Lanai ,Hawaii". She smiles a bit and let's out a chuckle  .

"I get that very relaxed vibe from you , I use to live in Hawaii with Steven as a small boy".

"Oh I didn't know that"

"We have traveled so much . I hope you do as well". She nods as I grunt.

"With Kai on the way I doubt that will happen anytime soon". I rubbed my belly and giggled.

" You need to travel baby. Are you going make this baby have a boring life". She smirks as I looked appalled .

"What do you mean?"

"Oh come on your life is so predictable. Sweet Predictable girl , falls in love for boss. He is an hard head but she bangs him. Gets pregnant but he has a horrible experience and turns on her. She finds her voice and stands up to him." She smirks as I couldn't handle it. She was making a mockery of my life.

"Now that guy , who has treated her horrible now , is left in the dust. He is now begging for her back and she is being to hard headed to let him in. ".

I looked at her and shook away the tears .

"Honey that was my life , but I made Steven father life the best . why? Because we let all of our problems go . It was me,Steven and Oscar against the world. And that is how it should be. Go travel , Make you son live all around. Show him the earth baby".

"I-I"

"Listen Melody I am going to tell you something you needed to be told a long time ago but get up with me".

She held her hand up as I slowly grasped it . We walked toward the group of men but stopped before we could reach.

"I am only saying this cause you need a reality check".

I nodded as she held my hands.

"Get you head out of your ass. You need to realize that man loves you and you need to forgive him. He wants love and his son. His son is coming in two weeks so he knows that is coming. But does he need to wait 2 weeks for to forgive him. He has changed because he is in love with you. But no one chases forever , not even prince charming. Get over yourself, go with your man and love him. Forget the past and live for now. Enough feeling bad for yourself babe , go love him and your son. Stop being Predictable and be original. You have a man who loves you and friends who care now all you need is to respect yourself and humble up. It not all about you no more , It is all about Kai right now". With that she hugged me and walked away.

I saw Aiden walk up to me and grab my hand.

"Sonneblume, you okay"?

I look up at Aiden and bring him to kiss . I felt him slowly close his eyes and ease into the kiss. I pull away and hold onto his neck. He smiles and pulls me close to his body.

"I love you Aiden".
