The crusaders were making their way to Calcutta. Their train took them to Myanmar first. From there they had to take a boat to Calcutta. They were about to reach Calcutta dock very soon.
It was at this moment when Joseph said: " We're about to cross India. But.....well....I'm a bit concerned".
Avdol: "And why is that"? Joseph: "My image of India is a place where people only eat curry and you could fall ill at any time". Joseph tried to explain his worries, sweating a lot because of the warmer climate.
" I'm worried my body may not be able to handle the culture gap". Polnareff joined in as well.
Avdol: "That assessment is rather distorted, don't you think? You needn't worry. It's a nice country, where simple people live and enjoy their lives. I can guarantee it".
They felt the boat coming to a halt. Avdol opened the heavy metal door in front of them. "Well, we're Calcutta now. Let's go"! He said as he walked outside with the other crusaders following close behind.
As soon as their feet touched solid ground, they were swarmed by a crowd of children. They were screaming out offers and some of them were asking for tips.
" Hey give some tips"!
" WHY ARE THERE SO MANY KIDS HERE"?! Polnareff asked in bewilderment.
"Let me carry that for you"! One kid offered.
"Give me a tip or you won't go to heaven". A kid said that while tugging at Jotaro's jacket. Jotaro: " I'm not getting into heaven regardless. So no".
Another offered: "I can find a hotel for you sir"! " Need some medicine for your stomach"? Joseph: " No, that won't be necessary".
"You want a tattoo? You are so beautiful"! " Please marry me beautiful lady"! Several people screamed out requests at Kakyoin.
"I-I No! Please! I'm still 16! And no, I don't want a tattoo"! Kakyoin turned down all of the offers. She became very uncomfortable. She was trying to catch up with her companions. But the crowd seemed to get bigger by the second.
" Jojo! Where are you guys"! She yelled out in panic.
Jotaro grabbed her arm and brought her close to him. His mere aura was able to drive away alot of the people swarming her. She felt a bit more comfortable than she was before.
Jotaro: "You ok"? Kakyoin: " Well my wallet had already been stolen. So I could be doing a lot better".
This earned a smile from the teen.
Polnareff: "Hey! Don't get your nose on that"! He yelled at a kid getting snot all over his bag.
Joseph kept turning all of the offers given to him by the inhabitants.
