In the small town of Moonstone, where werewolf legends were as common as the latest TikTok trends and mysteries lurked around every corner, another day dawned with its usual blend of excitement and intrigue. Moonstone, with its eerie charm and spooky tales, was the perfect backdrop for adventures both real and imagined.

At the center of all the action stood Moonstone Academy, the swanky private school where the rich kids roamed the halls like royalty. With its fancy campus and pricey tuition, it was the place to be for those with the right last name and a hefty bank account.

Inside the walls of Moonstone Academy, the classrooms buzzed with the energy of restless teenagers, their minds half-focused on the lesson and half on the latest drama unfolding in the hallways. Among them sat Adam Greene, a 17-year-old African American kid with a penchant for daydreaming and a knack for finding trouble.

Slouched in his seat at the back of the room, Adam fought a losing battle against the boredom that threatened to consume him. His eyes drooped as he struggled to keep them open, the temptation of a midday nap almost too strong to resist. But even as his eyelids grew heavier by the minute, Adam couldn't shake the feeling that someone was watching him. he glanced to his right where he was met by a pair of familiar hazel colored round eyes.

"Quit staring, will you?" Adam said to Aiva Maxwell in a husky voice. before turning the other way and lying down on the table to take a well-deserved mid class nap.

"If you keep sleeping in class, you're gonna get in trouble with Mrs. Birmingham. and we both know she hates it when students don't pay attention to her." Aiva nagged him. in her defense she did really care about him, and Mrs. Birmingham was as strict as advertised.

"Yeah, yeah." Adam brushed her off as he slowly drifted off to sleep on his desk. Aiva, a bit annoyed sighed and decided to ignore him and focus on class which wasn't fun at all.

Mrs. Birmingham was the old history teacher, and a boring one too. she'd spend the entire lesson monologuing about some topic in a flat soft voice which would make almost anyone fall asleep. on this occasion she was teaching on the history of their hometown, moonstone. something along the lines of it being formed off of bloodshed, something about a war between werewolves and humans and peace being made over a 100 years ago on a night under the full moon. Aiva struggled to pay attention as she also started to doze off, besides she knew the history of this town like the back of her hand. most of the stories were just legends and myths anyways so why should she pay attention.

Aiva yawned as she struggled to keep her eyes open. she rubbed her hands over her round fair skinned face and swept her long braids to the back of her shoulders before resting her head on her hands. everything was going just fine until...

the classroom doors suddenly swung open and the principal Mrs. Phillida Petula Dickman followed by a new unfamiliar student. as she walked up to Mrs. Birmingham and apologized for interrupting her class, the other students had begun chitchatting and murmuring indistinctively about the new girl who'd just walked in with the principal. the commotion was enough to even wake Adam up from his midday nap. he turned to see what was going on, when he saw her.

to him she was a vision straight out of a fashion magazine-a 17-year-old girl with stunning white hair that flowed like silk down her back, catching the light in a mesmerizing display. Her gray almond eyes held a hint of mystery, like she held the secrets of the universe behind them, while her heart-shaped lips sported a subtle yet confident smile.

With an oval face that could have graced the cover of any beauty magazine, she embodied the epitome of modern elegance. Her pale skin seemed to glow under the midday sun light, giving her an ethereal quality that left everyone in the room spellbound.

Decked out in the sleek and stylish female school uniform, she made the usual look standout. Each part, from her clothes to her walk, showed a class and smooth grace not to miss.

The principal beckoned the students to quiet down before introducing the young girl that stood Infront of everyone. She revealed that she was from a certain school one town over from moonstone which so happened to have a homicide incidence in the past week and that her parents moved her here so she could be safe. after a moment of eerie silence, she gave her an opportunity to introduce herself. she took a deep breath and began...

"Hello everyone, um, I'm Aria-Loona Marcus Garcia Rivera... I know I might stand out a bit with the whole white hair thing, but hey, it's just who I am, right? I'm super excited to be here at Moonstone Academy and to get to know all of you. I'm into all sorts of stuff-like art, music, and maybe a little bit of magic if you catch my drift. Oh, and if anyone's up for a game of basketball or wants to binge-watch some Netflix after class, count me in! Can't wait to make some awesome memories with you all!" she said in a soft feminine husky voice that resonated throughout the classroom, her warm and friendly demeanor put everyone at ease, inviting them to embrace her uniqueness and join her on the journey ahead. And as the room erupted into cheers and applause, it was clear that she had already won over the hearts of her new peers, Adam's heart especially.

She sat at the backrow on an empty seat next to Adam, she flashed him a welcoming smile before turning towards the others in the class all looking forward to talking to her, boys especially. The way Adam saw it, things could not get any better until...

"Adam." the principal called, getting Adam's attention before speaking, "As class minister I'm sure you'll look to it that Aria gets properly acquainted with the school. understood?"

Adam nodded, before the principal strolled out of the class and closed the door behind her. As she left the class began to start its usual chitchat before Mrs. Birmingham interrupted and reminded them that it was still her class and detention was just one word away. But Adam was already lost in thought.

As the monotony of the lesson washed over him, Adam fought to stay focused, his mind wandering to far-off and thrilling fantasies. With each passing moment, the pull of daydreams grew stronger, beckoning him into a world of endless possibilities, the kid was in love. But Little did he know, his ordinary life at Moonstone Academy was about to take a turn for the extraordinary.
