Life as Draco Malfoy's sister

Chapter 4

I do not own Harry Potter. I do not own the characters. I only own Alaina and the story ideas. I must apologize for the lateness of this chapter. Thank you for your patience. Enjoy. This chapter is kind of short, I apologize for that and will make the next chapter the longest so far.

Recap:                                  Draco's POV

                We reach the bottom of the stairs where mother and father are waiting on us. Mother gives us a hug and smiles, "Alaina listen to your brother and do as he tells you. We don't want any trouble from you, do you hear me? Oh and Draco dear, enjoy the term. I know you'll make us proud." I nod weakly as Ali nods furiously, bowing to our mother like a common slave. Once mother lets us go, Father moves in front of us. He smiles wickedly and opens his mouth to speak.

                "Draco, keep the winch in line and make sure that she follows the Dark Lords plans. I give you permission to punish her as you see fit." He turns to Alaina, "Now, you stay in line. Listen to your brother. I will not hesitate to bring you home and lock you in your room for the rest of your pathetic life. Remember the orders you have received from the Dark Lord, follow them specifically and do not stray from your mission, or I will kill you. Do you understand?" Ali bowed deeply, much to my distaste and nodded quickly. "Good, now off both of you." He demanded, as I grabbed her hand, quickly walking out the door.

Alaina's POV

                Father's threats had me shaken up, as I stumbled after Draco. He squeezed my hand comfortingly as we reached the portkey. Dray grabbed onto the cane portkey as he smiled at me. The cane was an exact replica of our fathers. A dizzy feeling over took my body as we reached the platform. Draco held me close to him, knowing that the trip always dizzied me. "I...I think I'm alright brother." I whispered in his ear, as I held his hand tighter.

The nervous feeling was getting worse. I'm worried that I will not be able to go through with this. I did not want to trick Harry Potter, he would be the key to my father finally letting me live the way that I wish. Brother seemed to know this as he pulled me close. "Sweetie, do not worry. Everything will be alright. I promise." He said quietly as he kissed my forehead. Smiling up at him, I nodded. Draco always knew how to make me feel better.

                We stepped onto the train, as Dray rushed me into a compartment away from everyone. "This is where we will reside for the ride to school. Do not go anywhere without me. I do not want you to get lost." He said as he glared at the door. Quickly, I nodded and leaned into him. He felt so warm, but the train was so cold. "Brother, did we bring a blanket?" I whispered against his chest as I cuddled closer trying to take his warmth. He chuckled and wrapped his arm around me, throwing his cloak around my side.

Mumbling a thank you, I closed my eyes falling asleep as Draco pulled me closer into a more comfortable position on the berth. My last thought was I hope I live through this mission to gain our freedom.
